OMG. Five pretty damn good looking brackets for $20?!? How can you not buy these?The quality control may not be the same as brackets that cost $30 each, in fact the welds look like they were done by a kid in shop class, but they are strong, and you cant see them once they are on the wall. I'm renovating my house to be good enough to get a Dwell magazine feature and these brackets fit right in.

No the most high-end handrail bracket. But very good value for the price. Bought 4 packages (20 brackets) to put outdoor handrails up around my Dads place. I used with wood handrails. But really I think they're meant to be used with stainless rails.As long as you use good screws, these are very solid.

These were bought to install a stairway banister which a building inspector thought was needed (there was a top rail but it was 2-1/2 inches too high according to code!". It was easy to install the banister for my wife and I and we passed without spending too much money.
