Milk & Kisses is the eighth and final studio album by Cocteau Twins, issued by Fontana Records in March 1996. It proved to be their last. The song “”Rilkean Heart”” was a homage to Jeff Buckley, who was a lifelong lover of the work of poet Rainer Maria Rilke.

Careful Which Version You Are Buying
There is another version of this exact same album with the exact same two bonus tracks on Amazon for a lot less ;)There is no track listing on Amazon for this album but if you're looking for an alternative import version to the standard 10 track version of this album then this listing is in fact for the Japanese version and contains the two bonus tracks 'Flock Of Soul' and 'Primitive Heart' at the end. Just to be clear this is NOT the Hong Kong import version which has the duet version of 'Serpentskirt' with Faye Wong (that version only has the standard 10 track listing, it's just that the song Seprentskirt features the additional vocals mixed in).But if you really want both of these extra tracks but don't want to buy the whole album again then you can find both of these two tracks together on one of the 'Tishbite' singles for less (the one with the orange cover).Full track listing not shown here is:1. Violaine2. Serpentskirt3. Tishbite4. Half-Gifts5. Calfskin Smack6. Rilkean Heart7. Ups8. Eperdu9. Treasure Hiding10. Seekers Who Are Lovers11. Flock of Soul12. Primitive Heart

Avoid this and save your cash
The mastering of this record is abysmal - totally lacking in any character. There's no way the CD version should sound better than this, but it does and by a good distance, to boot. No idea I fit's a pressing issue or just a crack-handed attempt at remastering an album that never needed such a process. It's as bereft of depth and musicality as the equally lacklustre white version released for RSD 2016. Don't be tempted to spend your hard-earned cash on that abortion, either.
