Hydor Professional 150 External Canister Filter for 80-150 Liter Tank (Speed 600L/h)

Working great. Cleanliness of the tank and waste recycling is much more effective than the internal filters I used with reduced cleaning cycles.I initially had trouble with priming but once I understood the technique I was able to do regular tank cleaning lot more efficiently.

Review after using for 2 days.First the product delivery was quick and delivered without any damages. thanks to Amazon.The product itself is amazing, well designed. This model doesn't have UV sterilizer though. But it does the job well. Runs super silent. During silent early mornings all I could hear is, only the flow of water from the outlet . Installation was quiet easy. Outlet and Inlet has different sizes in hose connections. Self priming worked with ease. Price is on a higher side in India. The other primary products which I compared were from Fluval, Marineland, EHIM, Pinnex and few more.Spares are not readily available in India except the Impeller. Hope Hydor improves that.Overall, I liked this filter. Really happy to get a good product after 2 months or research

It’s been 5 months and it works well as expected, clear water and no leaks so far, takes some time for proper suction n discharge initially and later works perfect. Cleaning filter once in 2 months for my tank.

Very quite doesn’t make any noise which was very important to me , functionality wise - easy to set up , water flow flow is quite good , cleans up my 3 ft long tank very fast and I don’t even have it on all the time !

Too cover of the tray doesn't fit the filter head, seems its from a different model, looks and feels used also.

Great filter, almost as good as an eheim in terms of build quality and flow rate.Pros: No bypass like the eheim classic series.Very good flow rate.Priming button works flawlessly.Good looks!!!Cons: Some water leaks while disengaging the valves for cleaning (minor issue actually)
