You really could put anything you'd like in it, but it's designed to hold the graded coin slabs.

Isn't anyone concerned with having to replace this every 10 years?

Excellent question. Because the surfaces of copper and silver coins react readily to ambient moisture and pollutants, this product counteracts much of this threat. Replacement every ten years for such protection is a bargain IMO.
