Love this decal! It's so adorable! Lots of compliments! Love that it is in feet and goes up to 6 feet!Instructions are better than other brands of decals I have used in the past. The tree trunk has varies shapes along it and each branch has a matching shape to indicate where each branch goes on the tree, which made it really easy to piece together. As the instructions mentioned, I cut each piece out and taped it to the wall before applying any pieces to get the layout just right. Then started with one end, stuck it to the wall and slowly pulled the backing off, while using the tool provided to push the image flat on the wall. The blow dryer and damp rag seemed to really help stick it to the wall. Then, I slowly peeled the transfer paper away, flat against the wall. Pulling out even slightly caused the decal to pull away from the wall. I placed the base of each branch to the tree first and went up to make sure my branch lined up with my tree. I would advise going extra slow when peeling the transfer paper off the bird cage and the little bird’s feet, they wiggled a little from their original placement since they have smaller details. Also, I pulled the transfer paper off from the side of the measuring lines rather than up or down.I had some obstacles on my wall. My wall plate made the measurements slightly off. When placing the measuring lines I had to cut the transfer paper in two places and re-measure around my wall plate to make sure it was accurate. I also did not use a couple measuring lines at the bottom of the tree since I placed my tree above the trim, I didn't want the measuring lines on the trim.It was a little time consuming, but worth it! I spent almost a whole day working on it on and off between normal household duties.
