Marli's Tangled Tale: A True Story About Plastic In Our Oceans: 2 (Wild Tribe Heroes)

I love this story, it's an excellent way to show the children I teach the bad effects that plastic has on the animals they so love.

Very happy with service, illustration fantastic, easy way to highlight the dangers of not removing our rubbish from our coastline.

Our 3 year old son loves this book, and listens avidly to the story about Marli and her encounter with balloons released in a nearby town. He understands why balloons shouldn't be released, telling us of the dangers to wildlife, and the devastating impact it can have. He refers back to the book when seeing rubbish in the community and encourages us to pick things up to put them in the bin. He also loves the section that suggests more environmentally friendly ways to celebrate, without releasing litter into the environment. We've noticed a recent engagement in this book so we will be buying more from the set for his 4th birthday.
