AA trapped in a D body.
I'm not happy with these batteries, whatsoever. They only have the capacity of a AA battery - they're mostly hollow plastic cylinders with a AA hidden inside. While they will work, they will only last 1/4 the time in any given application - maybe less due to the current draw of some applications.

Energiser vs EBL
Thought i'd do an experiment with my rechargeable batteries by buying these energizers ( Best name brand overall) but with 2500 capacity vs my EBL10000 capacity. My Premise I was thinking that well sometimes manufactures some how pull off the better numbers ( ie capacity) is overall not as good as a name brand but the product My test revealed that the EBL batteries with higher capacity indeed had 3 x plus more use. My experiment was with using low drain electronic candle's and varied the duration ithout much change. The one aspect I have not tested was the length of time the batterie can hold a useful charge. In theory, the less capacity batteries will loose less energy over time. In conclusion, I'm better off with the EBL and less money to boot. All purchased on Amazon.

Very light and cheap feeling, way weaker than alkaline batteries
I bought these for use in my baby's swing. The first thing I noticed was how light and cheap feeling they were. D batteries should be solid and heavy but these were about as heavy as AA batteries. A set of D alkaline batteries lasted for several weeks of moderate use in my baby's swing, but these things die after less than a week of the same average use. Sure I can recharge them but having to do it 4x-5x more often than I would have to change disposable alkaline batteries was not what I had in mind. These are a big disappointment and waste of money. Despite their rating they are really poor. The fact that they weigh the same as some AA rechargeables that I have suggests that they are really cheap and have little inside.

These Batteries Suck !!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I use a lot of D batteries. D batteries are expensive so I foolishly invested in 16+ of these and some AAs as well and two chargers. THESE BATTERIES WILL NOT HOLD A FULL CHARGE OVERNIGHT.In use they last me for my purposes for 4-5 days. Regular Alkalines lasted in the same application for 3+ weeks !!!As many here have said in their reviews, these batteries are a rip off.It takes a big man to admit he got conned by a little pink bunny rabbit who keeps going and going.

Always being recharged!
If you're looking for rechargeable D cell batteries that need recharged all the time, then these are for you. I made the mistake of purchasing these batteries which are essentially AA's wrapped in a plastic D-shell. Should have done my research instead of relying on just the Energizer name.

It works
I bought 2 of these for my baby swing the operated battery only. I was going through 4 regular Energizer batteries about every 1.5 to 2 weeks, so I decided to try these rechargeable batteries out. On the baby swing, which we use a lot, these rechargeable batteries would run out of power about every 2 days. It was kind of annoying to recharge them that often, so I took off 2 stars for that. But for how long I used them compared with the price and usage with the regular Energizer batteries, these ended up being a better cost to usage ratio. So I am happy about that. The actual charger is sold separately, so if you don't already own one, you will need to purchase one that accepts these batteries.

Don't Waste Your Money!
I received these batteries on 10/24, fully charged them and put them in my bird bath Water Wiggler on 10/25. They went dead on 11/15!!!!! Wow! Regular nonchargeable D batteries lasted me OVER 8 months in the same device and, yes they did recharge and are now back in my bird bath twirling my Wiggler but for how long and come on....we're talking 3 lousy weeks! I am definitely Not happy and will Never buy these again!UPDATE 12/5 - 19 days, yes that is all the second full charge lasted....a Lousy 19 days and here I am charging them again. The first full charge lasted a whopping 22 days...woo hoo....getting really angry I wasted my money on these!!!!

You really need to read this review before purchasing these batteries.
I originally wrote a very brief and accurate review on these batteries, but Amazon does not show the review. I'll let you decide why. These batteries are way over priced and do not last at all. The weight of these batteries is 2.28oz. The ELBs and Sunlabs are 5.8oz. They are rated at 2500mah, the ELB and Sunlabs are rated 10,000mah.But I have an even more useful state: Using them in a refrigerator fan the ELBs and Sunlabs will last 2 months. These batteries won't make a week. These batteries are not worth the money. You can get a LOT more power for the same or less money.
