This is an update to my review. I was able to explain my issue to the seller and received an authorization to return the item, although not a free return. I ordered a large size which fit fine. I have what I consider moderate foot drop and normally where an AFO brace outside. This Ossur brace allows me to walk indoors without using the AFO. I have tried other foot up braces from other manufacturers in the past. this one actually fits well and works for me. My only suggestions are for the seller to have a sizing chart available and to make it clear that the item is not returnable. I wear a size 8 men's shoe. Since there is no sizing chart available I chose medium. It was way too small. I attempted to return the brace and found out it is a non-returnable item. There is no indication in the site that indicates it is not returnable. It appears I am stuck with an item that doesn't fit.

Just received this today. I have moderate foot drop. I believe for anything other than mild foot drop, you will be disappointed. First, the stretch band, in order to really pull enough on the foot, unbinds the velcro. The Velcro is just not strong enough and/or, it pulls the ankle cuff down. So to get a good fit, you really have to tighten this. I still find that I have to be careful walking fast because my foot still drops, even when on tight. It is better than without it, but not significantly so and not at this price. I think for $20 it may have been worth it. I've heard it's tough to return to this vendor, so buyer beware.

This accessory to the Ossur Foot Up is supposed to allow you to wear sandals. I have many pairs of sandals and there was only one I could manage to stuff the wrap into. I suppose if you want to walk around barefoot it would work. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.

These foot wraps that go with the ankle accessory were a little smaller than the ones that I am replacing, about 3/8" smaller. I am hoping that they will stretch out more with use. These Foot-Up orthotics are wonderful if you have any degree of foot drop.

For someone who has foot drop, a neurological issue, this accessory is quite good. It needs to be worn with the foot drop ankle piece and can allow a person to walk without shoes...with socks or barefoot...around the house. It also works fairly well with flat boots that have no zippers. The pull strap on the instep is what elevates the foot without having to wear an AFO. A real nice change to the plastic orthotic that one needs to insert in footwear. Thank you Amazon!

This product may just take time to break it in. Just does not lift the foot correctly unless your wearing shoes. May take time to get used to, and with the barefoot strap the foot still hangs down, just not as much. I believe that with practice (while using my walker for safety) it will meet my expectations.

the accessory corrects my foot drop and makes walking easier and allows a more normal gait,it is easy to put on and works very well.

Ordered the correct size based on ankle measurements as they were listed online. Had to return the item for another size because it did not fit.
