Man, these are truly the best! I tried going with a cheaper brand and it gave me nausea and bloating, I went back to this Optimum Nutrition one and I feel great!!! And as a woman, I feel like it gives me that slight edge in increasing my muscle in the gym, but I also think I get neurological benefits (mental clarity, attention). They are large but totally easy and fine to take, beats taking gritty powdery drinking kind. Capsules are best! Definitely recommend, 10/10 product!

I’ve been taking these capsules for the past few weeks, below are my pros and cons. Pro: Super convenient I usually try to take the pills at the same time and it’s much quicker than having to stir in the powder into a cup. If you are good at taking pills then these are a lifesaver. Pro: Creatine benefits After taking creatine capsules for a couple of weeks, I feel more energized waking up and when doing some lifting, feel like I’m putting in more reps and waking up sorer the next day. I also have read that creatine can positively affect cognitive ability, and as a college student I’ll take what I can get. Creatine works by pulling in water to enlarge those muscles, so beware that you may notice a slight weight gain but it is purely water weight. If you stop taking creatine you should be able to lose that weight quickly. Con’s: Taste and Size From the product pictures, you can’t really tell how big the pills are, but they are pretty noticeable in size and the first few times I took them i was not used to taking these pills. If you keep them in your mouth too long, they also start to taste bitter so the quicker you swallow them the better.

Yes, the pill is rather large, but I have no problem swallowing the pill and I would not think the size should be a problem for any adult. Just remember, they're trying to fit 2.5 grams of creatine into two pills so they're going to be big. I take them one at a time, and have had no issues. I read a review that said they suspected the pill had fillers in it because they experienced stomach pains. I wanted to see if there were fillers so I opened one up and I can confirm it's pure. As I said, there have been hundreds of studies on creatine and one of the potential side effects is stomach pains, I have never experienced this problem, but if you do, try taking it with a meal. In conclusion, I love taking this as opposed to using powder. Even the unflavored powder tastes like mixing sawdust in your water. This pill is not only faster than mixing powder into your drink, but it is also takes away the gag impulse you have while drinking the powder. I 100% recommend the pill over the powder! Once I started taking the pill it was way easier to be consistent in taking the daily dosage, because I could take it so much faster. Now, if it makes any difference, I did some math and the pill is a bit more expensive than the powder form. Siempre hacia batallado para tomarme la creatina ya que no me gusta la textura que tiene, sin duda esta es una muy buena alternativa para las personas que tampoco les guste la textura o el saloncito arenoso que tiene. Yo me estoy tomando 4 pastillas para que sean los 5g recomendados.
