Pretty useful. Saves over buttering.

It is awesome, but you need 2 sticks of butter to get it working well.The butter must be very melted (Liquid)

Purchased this Butter Wheel for a friend who serves up grilled gourmet burgers one a week for a charity fund raiser. His burgers are a hit, but the buns needed a fast, reliable way to toast on the grill. The Butter Wheel was the answer! He keeps it on the warm side of his grill so the butter is melted, but not scorched. When I first saw one of these I thought it was going to change my world and make doing grilled cheese sandwiches for my 6 kids a breeze! It did not. I didn't like that in order for this to work it needs at least 3 full things of butter. You have to roll the bread a lot to even get the butter on the bread. Metal seemed to be high quality, and worked decently.

I bought these for our local senior center. They run a concession for bingo. I and the women that I'm run it love this item. Just roll the rolls or buns or it and presto their buttered. Quicker than using a brush, and use less butter

Way easy to use

My husband is obsessed with this butterer. He sits it on the Blackstone to keep butter melted and ready to use. It holds a good amount of butter so he doesn’t have to stop grilling to refill the butter. It keeps things mess free, quick and easy to butter things.

Overall, it’s a great idea. Unfortunately, it takes about 1.5 sticks of butter before it touches the wheel. Design needs updating so the wheel sits lower. There’s a lot of butter that gets wasted the way it is now. Other than wasting butter, it works as advertised. I’ve given up on the wheel & use the tray for melting queso & butter to spread on various dishes.
