Red Carpet Studios Cosmix Copper and Purple Spinner, Medium (31091)

This spinner is certainly worth the money, unlike much of what is out there these days that is similar. I have had mine for six (6) years now, it hangs under the roof on the porch. I live in FL, and even though it is under cover, the environment will generally destroy anything metal outside within a year, powder coated or not. Not the case with this spinner. It’s solid, no rusting and has held up well through rainstorms and high humidity.Yes, the color will fade, but it just takes a bit of Rustoleum exterior spray paint to renew it. Minor problem. I did it once in six years, and it has held up wonderfully. If I can find *anything* that lasts this long here, I’m thrilled. If you want to know how long any outdoor decor, etc., will last just ask someone who lives in FL! Great testing grounds….environment is brutal. Aside from aluminum and PVC, not much will last longer than a year, maybe two.

It is very pretty and spins nicely and looks cool when spinning. It is very light material which I think is aluminum. I hope it lasts and doesn't rust. I did put car wax on it like recommended.

I hung it on a tall shepherd hook in the middle of my garden and it does spin gently in the wind. I followed the directions to coat it with car wax first to keep it from gathering much dirt.

Of ALL color metal helix windspinner, this is 'C-' due to extreme fading. It lasted less than 1 season, and inferior to the other colors.Copper helix is beautiful, and has kept finish. Item itself is pretty - when FIRST hung up. Decent weight, but hardly ever spun.Mine was not in direct sun all day or even in high wind area, but ended up stripped of color.Underside, is ORIGINAL color. Upside is down to grey metal. (I'm trying to "fix" spinner by renewing color on metal facing up.) Decided you should see condition after one season outside, and before I've finished adding color that was lost.)*Two far right curves are the fade the ENTIRE wind spinner had.*I have many colors, including blue and green, and they are MUCH more weather resistant.

The Red Carpet metal wind spinners are absolutely gorgeous!! ANY color you choose is a definite standout in your garden, your patio or even as a gift! These spinners are extremely sturdy and arrive exceptionally packed so there are no worries they might show up bent. I purchased a red wind spinner first and it was dazzling!!! I searched the Internet frantically trying to find these spinners and when I found them, I purchased a gorgeous purple and copper one AND a green and copper one; they are really beautiful!! Purchase one today and enjoy their beauty!

Just got the purple spinner. it is VERY light metal, but it does spin really nice. it was packaged appropriately for shipping. At first didn't know what the white plastic tube was for, then realized why and definitely a good idea. Just push up either the top or bottom a bit and it's come right out. Not the best paint job, definitely a hurried job, it would have been nice if the material used was a heavier metal. For what it is, I do find it is overpriced. but again, for the purpose I wanted it for it will do.

I bought this spinner for my garden. It takes a pretty good wind to get it going, but it's very eye-catching when it spins. I did follow the manufacturer's recommendation to wax it with car wax before putting it outside. I've had it for over a month, and it still looks great after several rain storms.
