I thought it would sit on top and be easily removed for cleaning
It is 8.5" x 8.5" from lip edge to lip edge. The basket is only 7.5" x 7.5". Bought this for my 8.5" x 8.5" drain boxes and it slides down inside the box about 1/2". I thought it would sit on top and be easily removed for cleaning. Not as happy as I thought I would be. Will find a larger one in the future.
