Wow - hair looks much younger
My hair is 50/50 grey and brown in front, and 85% brown in the back. I have had it professionally colored for years but let it grow out over lockdown. My hair has been a problem - thin and easily fried by any kind of treatment. I bought this henna thinking that henna is a temporary hair dye. Not true, or at least, not very true - the henna color is still strong after many washes. When I first applied it, I was a little horrified at how dark it was. Areas of my hair - the places that started out brown - looked almost black. But that color has softened, and I have continued to use the product on my roots as they grown out. Here is what I love: the color has highlights and darker areas, which has a natural look. My hair texture is GREAT. It is soft and full. Honestly, it looks like my hair is 20 years younger. I don't plan to go back to professional coloring. This is much cheaper and I love the look and feel of my rejuvenated hair. Note that this product is not pure henna - it is mixed with something like indigo to give the darker tint, and it also some accelerating agents that may cause irritation for some people.

Formula not the same anymore
I have bought the single pack of this item several times before, always worked fine. Used 1 pouch from this three pack item and noticed this turning hair and skin super bright orange which has never happened before, it was absolutely hideous. Its almost like regular Henna without the 'Dark Brown' pigment to it. I am not sure if the pack I received was a weird batch or if the overall formula has changed, I will not be ordering this again.

Dark Brown Henna Very Dark
I’ve used the burgundy before left my hair too rusty colored so I used the dark brown a week later and the color was reddish brown. I could not contact the company to ask. I used two packs dark brown to one pack Burgundy Loved the fact it was mostly natural it does however contain a type of developer that makes it more of a Semi permanent dye. I mixed the Burgundy with the Dark Brown got a very deep Rich auburn mahogany color. I colored it in December and will color again soon.

Great Coverage For A Time!
Overall I like the product. Kangana Dark Brown Henna is easy to use and it does cover my greys better, leaving them a darker color almost matching my hair color. However, I find it doesn’t last as long as Nupur Henna that I initially used. I don’t care for either scent. To me, it smells like gumbo file. So I usually add some lavender essential oil to help with the smell in addition to softness of hair.

This product is messy but works as intended
I have seen other reviews that the product did not work well. Mine did. After two weeks the color is the same shade as the day I dyed it. II want it to rinse out but it just won't. All i can say is for a non permanent hair dye it is staying in a very long time. So long I now need to dye the roots. I don't like the color, it's too red for my taste. I wanted a dark brown , but instead I have a reddish brown color. The first thing I thought of when I saw the color was red velvet cake. Since I work in a bakery it's the only color I can describe as either devil's food or red velvet cake. This is not brown but a dark auburn not even auburn it's a weird reddish color I can't describe somewhere between auburn and brown. But the product did work. Although I suggest using a dye bottle because the brush does not work well with long hair. I have nearly waste length hair, a bottle work work better. I also recommend a strainer. This had what felt like rocks in it. Giving it an overall feeling of plastering my hair with mud. But the product did work and worked well. It did it's job. Now how do I get the horrible color out of my hair?
