Hi, This should be a regular one, not the thicker soy sauce.

Q: Is this light soy sauce?

It is a medium body soy sauce similar to kikoman or maybe a little lighter than la Choy, however the taste is much better.

Q: Shelf life after opening?

We share this with family and friends so it's never been around long enough to go "bad". I suspect freezing it in tiny glass canning jars might work for long term storage.
