Aqua Watering Globes/Gardening Water Tool - 2 Pack of Colored Glazed Green/Yellow Colors

As a woman with a black thumb (mostly because I either forget to water or over water), these are a plant's life saver! Love the colors, and they work. What more can you ask for?

Bought 2 sets for outdoor planters I have on my covered front porch. The trick with these is to really soak down the plant BEFORE inserting the bulbs. Otherwise they will drain right out. I made a nice deep hole with the knife sharpener I have, before inserting the stems. The water remained in the bulbs, and only dispersed once the soil began drying out. Despite other reviewers, they are not hard to clean upon removing, a simple chopstick will clean the soil from the end - and fill is also easy if you use a slow water stream. Well worth the investment if you leave town frequently and want to keep your plants healthy while away. Only bummer was description said green/yellow colors and I received red. Other than that, they are pretty and do the job. Depending on the plant, you may want to use more than one - I have two in my cala lily which likes to stay wet, and use only one in the begonia, which can get bone dry.

When I received the first package, one of the globes was smashed. I contacted the company and they immediately responded and sent me out a new package with two globes which were intact. They seem to work very well in the plants in which I am using them. I have to refill them about once per week and the plants have been doing well. They are easy to fill and easy to place in the plant. I am pleased with the product as well as the company.

The work as advertised and the colors are just fine. My only complaint is the functionality - dirt gets clogged in the tip and the water sodesnt flow out well. So the first day or so, after refills, you have to watch them a bit to make sure they are fully clogged. :/

I’ve been confused about reviews saying it gets clogged with dirt. It’s supposed to go into the soil with some going into the tube so water flows to the plant as needed.I purchased it for every day use and my zebra plant has never looked better. It needed a little more attention and this does it with an artistic touch.

I wouldn't buy this again; I would go with the more well-known brand. The yellow globe is a perfect size and very easy to fill with water. However, the stem on the green globe is so narrow that I can barely get water to fill it! It takes over 20 minutes to even get half of the globe full of water. Ridiculous.

I bought these because I was going on a trip for a week and didn't want my plants to die. I'm excited to say that they lived! They are thick and come in a box with styrofoam, so don't worry too much about them potentially breaking in transit. The picture is a basil plant that I almost killed before getting the watering globes. We just got home from vacation two days ago and as you can see it did well and there is still water left (I have not refilled it yet).

I should have listened to the reviews. I detest red. And really I didn't want anything loud because this is to go on a grave & it shouldn't be festive. I chose this product over the other options because the picture shows earth tones, green with a bit of brown and yellow swirled in, which I thought would be tasteful because it'd blend in with the foliage. I saw that others got sent red instead but I figured surely that was a brief problem that the seller fixed promptly, right? Why wouldn't they either change the ad to show red glass, or take care to send out the right item? Who just keeps sending out something different than what's in their ad?! Well, these guys, apparently. Ugh.I don't have the energy to fuss with returning it so I'm gonna try to find someone to give the red one to. The other one is actually as shown so I guess it'll be good until it breaks. I'd wanted a backup one because I have a feeling the caretakers will shoot a rock into this while mowing and break it. If the one earth tone globe gets broken I will DEFINITELY be ordering my next batch from anyone but Imperial Home!!
