Some of y'all don't seem to know what a duvet cover is. It's basically a pillowcase for a duvet, which is the big, fluffy thing that's warm. Without a duvet to cover, yes, it will have the consistency of sheets. The whole point of a duvet and a duvet cover is that you can change out the look of your bed as often as you'd like, and you can wash one or the other separately for ease. A duvet cover is not a comforter! All that said, this held up nicely in the wash, fits my queen duvet well, and adds a nice pop of glam to my room. I could see the dots maybe fading with time (haven't yet so far), but... it was only $38, so I'd happily buy something else if/when that happens. For now though, love it! If I continue to love it, may spring for a pricier version that will have more longevity.

First off….these is NOT a comforter. It’s a duvet cover. There’s too much gold in it for me so I decided to just layer it on top of my existing comforter. I did not like the accent pillows that came with it so I used my own.It wrinkles easy. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t comment on how it holds up…that’s a later review. It serves my purpose well.

The set is as described and arrived in good condition. I have been using it for a few weeks now, and it is holding up well and is comfortable.I feel like it looks a bit more sophisticated in the picture than it does in person. I suppose I should expect this when buying from "teen" lines (what can I say, I like color).It is polyester (which obviously is in the product information). In person, it is very silky due to this, but it also gives it a kind of shiny look. The gold colored flecks are much, much brighter than they appear in the photo. They are literally reflective. Neither of these are necessarily negative, but I feel like the combination does give the duvet cover a less mature look than I was hoping.Overall satisfied with my purchase, and there are no problems with the set, just wish it looked as "grown up" in person as it does in the pictures.

I can not say enough about how amazing this set is. The two additional decorative pillows really puts it over the top. The fabric is soft I mean I will stop playing my video game just to run my hand across my duvet cover. Lordt when I lay on the bed it's like sitting in a soft fluffy cloud (I say fluffy because my comforter is fluffy and also square boxed excuse the lines. You still have to buy the comforter seperately. Think of a duvet like a pillowcase for your favorite comforter). I've washed it about 3 times still maintains it's color very well and the glittery sections light up so beautiful in the sunlight....I'm in IL it's raining excuse the fact that there is no sun in half the picture the struggle is real 😂.

I Loved the color & design pattern. It complimented my bedroom decor perfectly. Unfortunately it came with a few large stains that I didn't notice right away due to me having Eye Surgery the day it arrived. My daughter visited me the next day & washed it for me using warm water & gentle cycle. After washing & drying (in the clothes dryer) the stains appeared to be lighter but larger & the gold faded, turning the duvet's design silver. I am disappointed because I brought this duvet set specifically for the holidays. (An Early Christmas Present to Myself). I was pleased with the way it looked and felt. Would I buy it again? I'm not sure. Maybe, If someone else washed it using "Cold Water, Gentle Cycle & Air drying "Successfully". King size is way too large to try to hand wash. The pillows & pillow shams didn't get washed so they're still gold. I'll Share an Update after I absolutely have to wash the Shams. Guess I'll be using My Old Comforter Again 😭 HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL 🎄☃️❄📝 UPDATE; (1 1/2 YEARS LATER) I'VE WASHED THE PILLOW SHAMS A FEW TIMES SINCE PURCHASED & THEY'VE TURNED OUT GREAT. COLOR WAS STILL INTACT. I TURNED THEM INSIDE OUT, WASHED IN COLD WATER, GENTLE CYCLE, THEN DRIED THEM ON COOL/AIR DRY CYCLE & THEY TURNED OUT PERFECTLY. UNFORTUNATELY THE DUVET COVER FADED EVEN MORE BUT THE STAINS BECAME LESS NOTICEABLE.
