no, this one by itself will produce fruit, but not very much at all the first year, mostly the second year and beyond. Hope this helps. God Bless!

Yes, I would definitely use containers to start with. Each cutting should probably have about 6" of cubic growing medium. I would keep the soil moist but not flooded. For the first week or two I would give them minimal light so that the roots could get a head start on the leaves. After the roots are going good then I might give them more outdoor daylight. Later in the summer, after you see plenty of new growth, then I would plant them in the ground outdoors, keeping them well watered daily.

Q: I live in zone #4, when should I plant my cuttings outside?

Well not sure about zone 4 but seems like you should grow them in pots so you can bring them inside when it gets cold, till they get big. Then when you plant them outside you will need to wrap them in burlap and plastic in the winter time to keep them alive.

Q: if i order 1 how many sticks will i receive?

With this offer comes 6 elderberry cuttings. These sticks are grown in Western Pennsylvania and experience Zone 5 winters. Normal leaf growth begins for them in May with fruit coming in August.
