Great combo!
I love how you can detach the keyboard. The kickstand on the case is sturdy and works great. The backlight keyboard is awesome. Match this keyboard with a Logitech M353 mouse and you can turn your iPad into a laptop! The only two things I don’t like about this case/keyboard is the charging cable it comes with is very short and it’s only a USB cable which you have to plug in to a computer to charge the thing or use your old micro phone charger if you have one laying around. Also, be very careful not to spill anything on the keyboard, this thing is NOT liquid resistant. I accidentally spilled my morning coffee all over the keyboard and it killed it instantly and no longer worked. I originally bought this slim combo from BestBuy (the one I spilled my coffee on) for $119 but I am so happy I was able to buy it for $60 on Amazon! Also, be careful not to bend or put a lot of pressure on the keyboard or you will break it. Overall, treat it with care and it will last a long time.Battery life is really good. I am very happy with this slim combo.

A Rare Fail from Logitech
I like Logitech and have used their products for years. They usually are the top of the pile for quality and they just work. So when I was replacing my Logitech Slim Folio, I went back to the “Logitech well”. Shame on me for not reading the reviews, that is on me. This is the WORST product. The experience was off to a bad start when I received an open box item, that literally has a round “open” sticker on it. When I opened the box the cushion wrap was not around the product at all and the charging cable was missing. Actually the part of the box that held the cable was completely missing! Once the device was charged up, it took 10 minutes of fiddling with it to get it connected via Bluetooth. Testing the keys it was discovered there are more keys that DO NOT WORK, than those that do! The keyboard kept powering off after literally 3 seconds on a full charge. The kickstand of the case feels cheep and I question how long it will last. At this point I feel it obvious that I received a product that was previously sold and returned for being defective. In my opinion, Logitech should just recall this item. I want to like this item, but there are way too many issues to do so!

Much better than I expected
I used a Zagg Folio on my previous iPad, but it went with the iPad when I gave it to my daughter. Give one, buy one, so I needed a new iPad and bought a 6th gen. Unfortunately, Zagg didn’t make a Folio that would fit the 6th gen, so I went without. This Logitech showed up in a Woot ad, so I got one from Amazon. The battery woudn’t charge, so I exchanged it, and I’ve been very happy since. I’ve seen other combos for $100 or more, but this one is lightweight, long-lasting, and easy to use; the keyboard connects and disconnects easily, too. Two thumbs up!

Seems to Work Okay out of the Box, Possible Safety Issue
From the reviews, I thought it was interesting that so many people were having problems with keys no longer working, especially since several reviews reported the exact same keys failing (A, C, Spacebar). What really caught my interest was one reviewer complaining that the keyboard had swelled up, a symptom of a swelling Li-ion battery, which is extremely dangerous. When overheated, overcharged, or excessively discharged, Li-ion batteries release a gas inside the battery envelope, causing the envelope to expand and eventually burst. The swelling of the battery can also cause shorts between the anodes and cathodes within the battery, which is the cause of fires and explosions like the ones that plagued Samsung phones for a while. My theory is that Logitech is using bad batteries in these devices, or using the batteries incorrectly, causing them to swell and pinch a data cable that connects the keyboard keys to the bluetooth module. This is all speculation, but I bought an open box product to use for a little while and see if the battery swells. At that point, I'll either see if the CPSC wants to take a look at it, or open it up myself and post a warning here if the battery seems to be an issue. In the meantime, users coming to post a review here because their keyboard keys stopped working should open the keyboard, very carefully remove the battery, and store it in a vented glass or metal container with a glass or metal lid until they can take it to a battery recycler.

One of the best iPad cases that I have ever owned!
This bluetooth case and keyboard combination is really nice! I like the materials used and the exterior color of the case. I enjoy the fact that I now have a place to store my Apple Pencil. The keyboard is backlit which is a nice touch because I do most of my e-mails or typing at night and do not have to keep the light on in the room to do so. If you are considering a purchase like this for your iPad, I think you will be pleased by purchasing one for yourself.

Re-purchased 3 times in last year because keys stopped working
It's a fantastic case and keyboard when it works, but the keys give out after a couple months of use. A keyboard should last longer than a couple of months. This is the fourth time I purchased this keyboard, (third time in the last year) because of this issue. Since the keys gave out shortly after the return window, I haven't been able to return it. And Logitech tries to weasel out of it since I purchased the keyboard from a third-party seller. At this point, though, I don't care who provides me an exchange, but both Logitech is liable under the manufacturer's warranty, while this seller is liable under the warranty of merchantability. Provide me a functional replacement and I'll happily update my review accordingly.

Good case for the money.
I like the case. The hinge is a clever design and magnetically click into place when you get close. So using the iPad separately is not big deal and you aren’t wearing out anything taking it on and off. The keyboard is nice to type on. I really like the extra row of shortcut keys at the top. My favorite is the “Home” button that saves my home button on my iPad. The backlighting is also nice and the letters on the keys are backlit well, important to those of us who use glasses and dim lighting isn’t our friend anymore.I would buy this one again.

2 Parts held together by magnetic band
Didn’t like the two piece system. Preferred the Logitech Slim Folio for 5th & 6th Generation Ipad.
