Q: Are these skis suitable for a forty five pound child forty four inches tall

Hi, Thanks for checking out an item we offer within our Amazon store. These would be Ok for a child that size, but at that weight he/she would be at the top of the range for it. We also offer a similar set of skis for kids ~4-8 years old. These Wildcat skis would start at about the 45-50 lb weight so your son/daughter would be able to use these for a few years. The Amazon ASIN for the Wildcats is: B017AC3B5Q. We are temporarily out of the Wildcats, but we expect to have more in on Wednesday of this week and as soon as they arrive we will add them to our Amazon available inventory.
