Great little radio!
Very nice sound (and FM reception) for such a small, inexpensive radio. Pretty easy to install, takes up no room in the kitchen. The sound is SO much better than a smart phone in a glass (or however you McGiver'd your phone to 'be' a speaker). Digital buttons for set-up are a little putzy....but does have a nice number of pre-set stations (that the user programs). One reviewer had a great suggestion - her husband set her 3 favorite stations multiple times in a row (e.g. station 1,2,3,1,2,3 and so on) so she is always only one or two button pushes away from a favorite.

Excellent reception/audio quality
I got this to replace an older under-cabinet radio because the one I had previously did not receive radio stations well at all. I chose this model because it has an external antenna wire, not an antenna buried within the power cord. I really think that made all the difference. After installing the unit, I used some rounded cable brad staples to secure the antenna wire along the back edge of my kitchen cabinet, going up. That gets me great reception on 7 favorite stations with no static, unlike my old unit.PROS:-as above, excellent radio reception. Unit is small, slim, easy to install. Easy to operate. Audio quality is above average. Decent bass response given such a small/slim unit. Bluetooth works well and it is easy to establish a connection.CONS:-display is not visible if you are looking down at it; you have to stoop to see what it says. If you are eye level with it, it's great, but unless you are 4 feet tall or have really tall kitchen cabinets that isn't going to happen.-You can't scroll back and forth among your saved radio stations. Once you've entered them, all you can do is cycle through them one way. If you go past, you have to keep pressing the button through all 20 presents (whether saved or not) until it comes around again.-Tuning is a little weird. If you press and hold the tune button, it will rapidly cycle to the next station it finds and then will stop. If you are trying to dial in a particular station, this is annoying. You have to keep briefly but repeatedly/rapidly pressing the tune + button to continually advance the frequency without stopping at stations along the way to get to the one you want.NEUTRAL:-there is a small LED light that you can turn on to light up the area under the radio, but it's too small to be of much use.-The unit has the ability to hold two AA batteries for a battery backup in case the power goes out or you unplug the unit. But all that you lose is the time. not your preset stations, so I elected to not install the batteries--I'd be more worried about them eventually leaking and ruining the unit. It's simple enough to reset the time if the power has gone out.Overall impression: an excellent radio at a great price. It has a couple of quirks, but delivers in the areas that were most important to me: reception and audio quality.

Perfect for kitchen
We keep this in our kitchen when we’re cooking or have family get together and it has Bluetooth and the sound works amazing. It’s also nice to have a clock in the kitchen. That’s easy to glance at. Haven’t had any issues at all with it and it’s very easy to hook up to we, it in to the bottom of our cabinet and plugged it in to our wall very easy install with clear directions took about 30 minutes

A great little kitchen radio.
Filled my need for an unobtrusive reliable radio that plays loud and clear w excellent reception. I tried out the Bluetooth a few times and connectivity and sound quality are strong but I use this radio mainly for listening to NPR and I pair my phone and a music service to a portable boom box style speaker when I want to rock and roll. Also, I did not mess around with the timer or alarm, it has those clock radio functions, my cell phone and analog kitchen timers are more convenient. I am using this as an old school under-counter FM radio. I installed it a few months ago and it is flawlessly meeting my need to stay on top of the news while working or eating in the kitchen. This sturdy little unit tuned to my favorite FM station does its job AND saves a lot of counter space.

Good concept but does not quite get there
Pros:CompactSound quality is decent. (Remember this is going into your kitchen)Bluetooth gives you great flexibilityAntenna wire superior to the power cord antennas on many radiosInstallation is pretty simpleCons:The operating buttons are microscopicThe writing on the buttons is even smallerTuning in stations is a pain. It stops each time it finds a station. There is no way to keep going by holding down the button. Each time it stops you have to release the button and press it again.Setting up pre-sets is time consuming and the device does not always act as described. At one point I had to call support and the guy walked through a reset which meant I had to start over.Using the 20 presets you can only go up. Let’s say you are at preset 2 and want to go back to 1. You have to go up to 20 before it goes back to 1. Nineteen clicks. The display is only visible from certain angles.

Great radio, easy Bluetooth connection
There were some reviews saying the sound quality wasn't very good, but we find this to sound just as good as our very old under cabinet radio we replaced. Not top notch, but not bad at all.I am thrilled with how tiny it is! Obviously I had the measurements, but I just didn't realize how much smaller it is than the one we're replacing. It looks great. The Bluetooth connection is easy and fast. Bluetooth is the main reason we replaced our old one.Going through all the preset stations to get back to the first is a little annoying (I believe there's 20),but another reviewer said they just preset their stations over and over. So like, you have four favorites, you set those, then set those four again and again until all the presets are filled. Perfect suggestion.
