Blue Plate Real Mayonnaise 30 Oz (Pack of 1)

Hold the mayo, and do not call me Shirley. Get ahold of this mayo, it is the real deal. Not sold in a lot of places overrun with run of the mill mayos. And weird mayo alternatives like some sandwich spread. This actually has flavor and adds oomph to anything you pair it with. If Miracle Whip is your idea of mayo, you are going to be shocked by this.

Really good mayonnaise with only a couple ingredients.

I ordered this Blue Plate mayonnaise throughAmazon because they stopped selling it in my area. I remember using this mayonnaise when I grew up in Louisiana. It has the best taste of all mayonnaise in my opinion. It makes my potato salad, chicken salad and my sandwiches taste a step above the rest. BLUE PLATE MAYONNAISE is the Real deal. I will no longer buy any other brand and now purchase it through Amazon from this day forward. I am one happy and satisfied customer.

I'm always trying to convince my friends and family about the virtues of having quality mayonnaise on their sandwiches. In my youth, I was convinced that I disliked mayo, but as an adult, I've realized that the problem was simply having poor options available.I made sandwiches at lunch for my wife and buddy with Kraft with Olive Oil, and the same sandwiches again for dinner with this (after Amazon delivered it on the same day ... amazing!). Everyone agreed that the whole experience was better at dinner time. The creamier texture, and superior flavor brought the whole plate together in a way it's hard to believe in text.Simply put: Buy a quality mayo like this or Duke's. You will pay a little bit more, but it will be well worth it.

This mayo does not look safe to consume. It was horrible. Not emulsified as mayo should be. I do not feel safe using this product.

I saw this reviewed on America's Test Kitchen and it sounded wonderful, so since it is only available in the south, Amazon provided the answer. Unfortunately, while this mayo is good, it is not good enough to justify the price difference from regular old Hellman's, It is slightly richer, with a little more creamy mouthfeel, due, I assume, to the fact that this is made with only egg yolks, while others use whole eggs. So, good, but not good enough.

I bought this mayo because it won the America's Test Kitchen taste test. I just had to see for myself. This is really is good mayo and, if I could find it in local stores, I'd likely buy it fairly often. However, Hellman's (aka Best Foods) is still the winner in my book. While its pretty comparable, Hellman's contains lemon juice and Blue Plate does not. I think it's the lemon juice that makes the difference for me.

Works very well with a Tablespoon eating it like ice cream!😛
