Utz Select Pumpernickel Pretzels, 12 Ounce

I've been purchasing these Utz pumpernickel pretzels for many years after receiving a bag from a friend in PA. They are not available anywhere near me so I buy them online. The pretzels themselves are wonderful, very tasty.There is a problem with the packaging though. A year or so back, it seems that the company switched packaging (something I have noticed in some other products. I assume it has something to do with either an environmental issue , or financial savings). The first batch that arrived in the new packaging was extremely rancid smelling that I almost threw out the entire bags of pretzels. I finally decided to risk eating one pretzel, hoping it would not make me very sick, and decided to keep the pretzels, but not the packaging. I immediately remove the pretzels and put them in my own container so I can bear to eat them. Again, the pretzels are great, the packaging is truly awful, and a huge potential deterrent to purchasing them.

These pretzels, have a very delicious flavor.

These are so tasteful. Too bad you can't find them in the store! Great for a hot cheese fondueVery yummy and would buy again

Crispy pretzels, hearty rye,what's not to like?

These were very good and I will buy again. I was originally looking for pumpernickel and onion pretzels that were my Mom's favorite. These are close but not quite.

These are my husband's favorites! The bag is a good size, they arrived well packaged (not broken or crushed), and the taste is excellent.

Delivery was late and 14 days before expiation- stale. Not purchasing again.
