It should be fine. The forms are sturdy but soft and pliable enough to form to your body but not compress under tight clothing like foam pads do.

The SHORT length hip pads are specifically intended for very short skirts or dresses where the STANDARD length would show below the hemline. If you're not trying to wear very short outfits, we recommend the STANDARD length pads as they have a more gradual decrease in thickness, therefore blend better with the thigh.

Q: These were stained by an article of clothing. Is there a way to safely clean them?

You can try using some isopropyl alcohol or acetone. Be aware that the silicone may "bubble" but will settle back to its original smoothness once the chemical evaporates. Please wash thoroughly with soap and water before using against your skin. You may want to then powder the outside of the hip pads with baby powder or talc so that your clothing slides over the silicone more easily. Please contact me if you need further assistance. Q: Are they self adhesive? Or do you need support garnet like spanx or tights to hold them down?

They are designed to be worn under support garments. You can start with a base layer of crotchless pantyhose so that you can use the bathroom without disturbing the pads. They completely disappear under a pair of opaque tights.
