Swiztek Keyboard for MacBook Pro 13" A1278 2009 2010 2011 USA Layout

This keyboard is working like charm no issues faced till now I have been using it since last 2 weeks continuously.Though I had a pretty bad experience with “Padarsey Backlight Backlit Keyboard” for my MacBook Pro A-1278 and it costed me 3times more than this one. “Padarsey” keys started behaving strange normally happens if the option key is pressed continuously which I wasn’t pressing. When I restart it was booting in safe mode and most times when I shut down it kept restarting. I thought there’s no options rather than connecting external keyboard via Bluetooth and disable the internal one ( installed software to disable internal keyboard) but still there were occasions when I click primary left button of mouse it was giving the behaviour of Right button..Those who are planning to buy go ahead and buy this “Swiztek” cheap and best keyboard instead of “Padarsey” which is costly and doesn’t work properly.

Quality is good compared to price point

This keyboard screwup my whole laptop. It has some malware built into it. It turns Ctrl key down for whole day, then Alt key, then disables complete keyboard. You can even type login password. Huge harrasment. I have reconnected my old key board with couple of keys damaged. It works perfectly. This keyboard is a trozen. You hate computer if you use this.

Two major things before buying this product.1. The ribbon connecting this keyboard is really small and fragile. Hence it becomes difficult to place into the holder, as you need to do it very gently. So be very careful with the connection part. It's not that hard if you are careful in what you are doing, but remember to plug it in completely, else the keyboard wont work.2. The keys are a bit on the plastic side, has some noise, but to me thats not a bummer and it's working great for me.It's a decent value for money product, not bad at all, if you dont keep comparing it to the original apple keyboard, as they are miles apart in price.

The quality of the keyboard is not good as the keys feels like bent from the edges and the fixing on the frame is too tedious but after lot of hard work the keyboard worked

Not Original. So build quality is poor. Also, keys placement is not proper. Not hoping it to have a very long life. The only good part is, if you can connect it properly, it just works.

Old comment: Half of the keyboard (right side) is not working at all. Very bad quality keyboard sold by Seller.Updated review: The Keyboard now working nicely. I guess the flex cable connection was not perfect when I wrote my previous comment. The flex cable length is slightly shorter than the original one, which makes it a bit difficult to insert it in the right position. After some difficulties I managed to plug the flex cable properly and now the keyboard is working perfectly as I am typing this review from this new keyboard. It is working fine. I hope it lasts for few years until I buy a new laptop/macbook.

Works with the mac.. and I replaced it myself at home
