Intel Pentium NUC - NUC7PJYH Barebone

Came across this NUC when my Home Desktop failed with a burnt Power supply and a damaged motherboard which has been serving my home browsing/document edit/picture viewing/you-tubing since the last 6 years and was used occasionally over these years. I came to Amazon looking for a replacement motherboard and a power supply to fix my desktop. But as the generation had changed, I was not getting a replacement board at a decent price and the cost was coming to building a brand new unit. Thats when I came across the NUC and their usefulness wrt the size and purpose.I ordered this and the unit along with 2 X 8 GB of RAM sticks, was at my home in 1 day. Meanwhile I did some reading on the setup and configuration. I opened the NUC and put the RAM and the 120 GB SSD (from my old desktop) and tightened the screws back. In flat 5 minutes I was done. I then connected the power supply, monitors, the WiFi receiver for the Keyboard and mouse. I also plugged in the Win10 setup disk I had created into one of the 4 USB ports.Switched it ON and the windows 10 setup screen was already on my display, quickly it went through all the process and the OS was installed on the SSD. The NUC is noiseless so you wont get the irritating fan noise that one gets from the bulky cabinets of yester years.I was glad I came across this accidentally. This particular Pentium NUC is quad core and fast enough. I switched from a 6 core AMD FX processor to this and I was not feeling any lag in handling you tube/office documents or multitasking. I dont play games, so cant tell about that aspect. A decent priced config and a great product by Intel.

Works wonderfully for me, for browsing the internet, typesetting documents and streaming videos (including 4k). As another reviewer has pointed out, it does not come with a 3 pin wall power plug! Hence, reducing a star. It does recognize and use 16gb of ram, which significantly improves its performance. Recommended!

no 3 pin wall power plug provided. the quality of the product is ok ok. some times the device doesnt power on. not sure for what reason its happening. the speed is ok but the graphics is too bad. better buy a i3 nuc instead of this. i would really recommend i5 if you are really looking for a proper hd media player.the price of the barebone might be less but remember that ssd or ram will be same cost whether it is pentium or I3 or I5 or I7.

A very good product!, I have been using it from last 2 weeks and I am completely satisfied. I am using this for office stuff, not doing any heavy computing. If you are interested in buying good and affordable desktop, this is the one. It supports 16 GB of RAM, however every where it is written 8GB only. It boots in less 2-3 sec, I am using along with 240 GB SSD AND 16 GB of RAM. It is faster then I expected. Plays 4k stuff with awesome resolution, no lag, perfect colors. However there is no HDR support provided instead it is claimed over various websites. May be support might come in sometime.A good buy.Affordable.Fast.Looks great.

This barebone nuc is Rs. 14000 but Acer laptop with same processor, 4gb RAM, 1TB HDD, HD screen and batteries is available for Rs. 19000 and others with Windows OS are available for Rs. 22000.It makes the NUC pricier for about Rs. 5000 even if we take the build quality and all other features.

Tiny mighty pc for for regular stuff and computing office word apps chrome and office purpose very less space is required one thing I appreciate seller for providing cable which is often not provided to connect the adapter with socket

Bought From Kochar Seller Very Good Packing and Delivery in 3 Days and also sended Power Cord too installed with Crucial Ram 8gb and 240 Crucial Ssd 240 gb basic work can be easily done videos with 1080p streaming will take processor to 100% so basic work perfect but no lag and very good looking small pc..

Not working at all, no USB installation option showing no hdd installation, tried gpt uefi USB with rufus but can't able to install Windows..... I wasted money on this product....
