I’ve honestly been using glaze for a couple of years now and have never had a bad experience.For background, I have long colored and highlighted hair that has been processed many, many times. My hair gets tangled easily and is pretty damaged with not a lot of shine towards the bottom. I’ve tried other products and fell off using glaze for the last year (idk why I did that).I’ve always used the clear gloss one but decided to use the blazing brown one this time, since I now have dark hair with brown highlights. Here are my thoughts:The color and gloss definitely is amazing. I applied it on dry unwashed hair and left it on for a good 10 mins. It definitely stains but I didn’t wear gloves. I worked in sections and washed my hair every minute or so, that way the stain doesn’t settle, and then comb through with a brush to distribute. I wash it off and shampoo/conditioner like normal.The color is deeper and healthier than before. My hair actually moves now! I don’t know why I ever stopped using it tbh. I will never stray again

This is a great product for slightly wavy hair. It gives structure and gloss. I love this product. It’s a must have for me. Not to mention the host of colors it comes in.5 Stars

Gave my hair a nice warm tint. I wanted a more rich warm chocolate tone with since my hair was more cool brown before and the color felt dull. I have natural dark hair and this will show better if your hair is a bit lighter. That said, keep in mind that if you have highlights it will color them.It hasn’t been staining my pillow cases and while I did see someone else say it stained their nails all I can say is - yes it has dye and obviously will do that which is why the instructions recommend gloves 🙃It’s not some holy grail product that will fix your hair if it’s highly damaged, but if you want to add a bit of a tint and gloss to your healthy hair this is a good product.

It made me hair dark at first and then after washing it 2-3 times my hair turned green/blue! I had to go to the salon to fix the damage! Not good at all! Don’t risk it

I’ve seen reviews about this not being a good hair dye, not covering grays, staining their hands, etc.It is NOT a hair dye. It’s a glaze. I love it - it’s perfect. It darkens my hair without being a dye. It washes out. I can build the layers if I use multiple times in a week. I use it at the beginning of the shower and scrubbing some soap and water on my hands wash off the staining A no stain by the end of the shower. It does “stain” my hair towel when drying. Always washes out. Never stained my clothes or bedding. I have cream sheets and pillowcases, 100% cotton. I have chestnut brown hair and this gives it a little darker tint while leaving natural variations in color. I absolutely love this stuff bc there is no dye line when it grows out.It is a GLAZE. It’s PERFECT for that!!Note: I use chocolate gleam. I did buy the cherry once to bring out the red in my hair - it does nothing for me that I noticed. I think you really need to buy a glaze that is darker than your natural color for it to work.

This product is only a gloss......this means it will only sit on top of your hair and not penetrate the hair shaft. This means it will wash off in one or two washes. It can stain a bit but this will not replace a demipermanent or permanent dye.I knew that going in, so with that being said... I took away two stars because it did wash out after one wash, which is pretty quick in my opinion. The color was a really beautiful red/auburn though.
