I was not able to keep the unit due to a problem with the item upon delivery, however I was able to remove and inspect the dehumidifier. I can say that it is a very attractive unit with a little brushed gold rim on the top panel, and it's heavy and sturdy. The carry handle on the top is extremely secure when I lifted the heavy dehumidifier out of the box. It's large and yet compact, also beautifully shaped, and would fit perfectly tucked into nooks around the home. And while this next part may seem minor, any user who is going to be emptying the tank as opposed to a drain hose installation will find this to be an extremely useful feature... the inner tank that holds the water has a handle too! I've owned 4 dehumidifiers and none of them had this inner handle. Having to very carefully transport a heavy, filled to the brim, open container of water across a room was one of my dreaded tasks! This would make emptying the tank a joy. Additionally, customer service was immediate and unbelievably human, understanding, kind and most of all, helpful. I recommend this company with flying colors, a rare find on Amazon to have such great service.

Hooked it up last night in my basement went from 73% humidity to 66%. I can see it collecting water. Working great. I may change the drain hose though, it doesn't connect tightly. A quick trip to Home Depot and all will be well

Purchased this for my garage; working wonderful and humidity has reduced from 65 to 45. Love the direct line for water discharge instead of needing to empty it all the time

Beware they won’t pay for shipping back I don’t find that it helps with humidity it did not bring down the humidity in my basement. I wanted to send it back to sender won’t pay for return cost me $52 to return the item I will never buy from a third-party again my mistake always look out for Amazon prime items with free returns

This dehumidifier is working great.

I like it, controls are a bit confusing as regards setting it for automatic dehumidification and of course written instructions these days are a joke. It is pretty quiet so happy about that. I have it set up in house I am not occupying, so we shall see how it does after 4 weeks of being untended, draining into a large container
