Yes it works like an MP3 player and it stores directly into to headset not sure how much memory but the package tells you; I think it’s a lot it works well

yes, they work good with apple watch, they work good alone as walkman they have 4gb for store your music

Q: Can you purchase different sized eartips that are compatible?

there are 2 types came with this earphone. the normal ones that will be available from compatible sellers, whereas the waterproof types (for swimming) you may not able to purchase from other manufacturer other than Sony.

Q: Is there a time limit to using these in the water?

I've used them for longer than 30min at a time, upwards to an 1hr and experienced no problems. I would say it would be more important to avoid depths greater than 2 meters. Make sure to clean them properly, as per the manual, if you use them in saltwater. Also make sure to let them dry before storing them.
