Very nice. Beautiful and work great for meditation

This is my second mala bought from Phoenix. I originally bought the steel and this time tried the brass. It's really a fantastic mala...super strong and a nice weight to it. The adjustment hex screw certainly does do something as I've needed to loosen it a touch so the beads aren't so tightly pushed together. The brass is also a great metal for a mala but be prepared that as you use it, your fingers are polishing the beads and the copper content in brass will leave a dark stain on your fingers...easily removed afterward with water. If you've ever had a mala break at inopportune times it's great to finally have an industrial strength cord (not to mention the peacekeeper function available if needed). Highly recommend.

I've been looking for an unbreakable mala for so long honestly I'm not sure I was ready to actually have one. Because of the steel cord, it is heavy, no joke - found myself using it as a weighted blanket at night and a posture corrector during the day. That being said, it's well made but the tightening screw doesn't feel like it actually does anything.

I’m very happy with this necklace as it has good weight to it and could do some serious damage if swung at someone. Wrapped around my fist 5times was too tight and 4 times was too loose but if needed it would do the job and it would vary from hand to hand size. Haven’t tried hanging from it but don’t think I will as I feel it would wear down faster. The box it came in was very nice and cute. Only downside is it looks a little scuffed all over, not sure if it was previously returned or just from being handled where it was manufactured but it definitely has a slightly used look if you look close at it.

I have absolutely no complaints about this product. It exceeded all expectations. This is a high quality, military grade product. A working mala made to withstand any abuse, in any environment. I'm hard on everything I use and when working I need to know I can count on the things I use to stand up to the abuse that I subject it to. This mala is more than flexible enough and tough as h e double hockey sticks! Extremely happy. And Phoenix Outdoor has been great with service..from product to shipping.

I purchased this item because my sister recommended it to me. Unfortunately, the prayer bead never made it to my house. The delivery was said to be delivered earlier than the stated delivery date. That is something I blame on the delivery driver. But this is not why I'm giving it 3 stars. This product is to heavy to wear around the neck where it gave my sister a rash, pulls at even the tiniest of hairs where it's uncomfortable around the arm and is only good when holding or used as a weapon. I wouldn't recommend this product for meditation even though I feel its still doable.

Great product, not a great company as I didn’t receive one of my beads and they continue to argue that it was delivered 3 months ago.
