Essentials of Sports Nutrition and Supplements
Very disappointing...The book clearly states that it has a companion CD enclosed with it!I've never got the CD even though I sent the book back and got a new book shopped with the same errorSecond it's obvious that this book was made to be printed in colors (by the figures and diagrams shades)Yet again this publisher decided to print it in Black & White for some reason (I'm sure you can think of few- maximize profit for ex.)If the publisher wanted to minimize coasts it's fine!!! But why charge 87 US dollars for it?Al in all- the publisher managed POOR SCORE!!!! (I used "managed" because as a customer I'm not very hard to please)

Well-written book
This is a comprehensive textbook of sports nutrition and supplementation written by a lot of big names in the sports nutrition field like Antonio and Stout, along with other leading exercise physiologists and nutritionists. The authors challenge a lot of the current nutritional recommendations made by mainstream RD's and nutritionists. It should definetly be kept for reference by trainers, nutritionists, and exercise science and nutrition students.

Good read, worth the money
This book is well laid out, cites study after study and disputes the claims of many nutritional (Along with other) "experts" with hard studies. Offers a pretty good synopsis of popular workout supplements along with the pitfalls and benefits of taking them. Well worth the money and a read.
