Best dock for Mac
Many docks are at least partially compatible but aren't built with Mac in mind, so you lose some functionality. This has been the only one I've found that has been able to connect my Mac to my monitor AND all peripherals. Usually I need a separate monitor cord to my Mac but this solves for that. Only suggestion would to also have an ethernet connector.

Don't buy it!!! Charging Fluctuates Constantly After Just 2 Months
I bought the ACASIS Thunderbolt hub hoping for a stable, high-performance solution, but after only two months of light use, it already shows serious reliability issues. The charging status keeps fluctuating – sometimes it charges, sometimes it doesn’t, and it keeps switching back and forth. I’ve double-checked with different cables and laptops, so the issue clearly comes from the hub itself. For something that cost over $100, I expected far better build quality and consistency. At this point, it feels like a complete waste of money. Very disappointed.

So close...
First, I want to touch on the good: The dock really expands on the productivity of a laptop. It is awesome being able to keep a couple peripherals hooked up and have a secondary display if you have the space. It helped to fill the void when my older desktop died, taking over some of the heavy lifting. The power supply, however, will drain your laptop battery instead of charging it. I have tried the dock with both the charger that came with it and my personal laptop charger, both had the same results.I have contacted the company and they offered no remedy, so I can only assume the dock is working as designed. This means that you need both chargers connected, one to the dock and the other to your laptop, which can be an issue if you only have one USB-C port or limited wall outlets.I did see that the company is offering an updated 100w version, which should fix this, so just beware the version you are purchasing.

High-Speed, High-Performance Docking Station for Your Computing Needs
If you're in the market for a docking station that delivers on speed and performance, you've found it. This sleek device offers a multitude of connectivity options and is compatible with both Windows and Mac, making it a versatile choice for anyone needing multiple connections. The standout feature is its speed. With 40Gb/s Thunderbolt 4, data transfers are lightning-fast. It supports dual monitor displays, allowing for either a single 8K or dual 6K setup—perfect for multitaskers who need multiple screens. The inclusion of USB C/A ports and a 100W PD port ensures your devices stay charged and connected. However, the docking station can get quite warm after extended use, which isn't a dealbreaker but worth considering if you plan to use it heavily. Also, while it's compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4, make sure your devices are too, as not all models may work seamlessly.Quality-wise, this docking station is solid. It feels sturdy and well-built, and it's proven reliable during use. It delivers on its promises of high-speed data transfer and robust display support.

A couple Steps Forward, but...
I saw this listed on Amazon and I got excited! A thunderbolt 4 Docking Station for under $100.00. Finally, we're starting to see the promise of Thunderbolt 4 in the marketplace. My dream is to have either a laptop or mini desktop (which has Thunderbolt 4 or USB4.0 capability) with only 1 cable connected to the computer. You see, with Thunderbolt 4, all you really need is 1 USB (Thunderbolt 4 or USB 4.0) connection between the computer and the dock and the rest including the power to the laptop can be taken care of by the dock. I was excited and ordered it. Don't get me wrong, docks already exist that can do this from HP, Dell and Lenovo but they have a much steeper price tag.It came in and I started to familiarize myself with it's functions so I could set it up properly. That's when I started to see some shortcomings. Yes it has Thunderbolt 4 ports. Yes, I can setup multiple monitors. But it only comes with a 65W power brick. Even if it came with a 100W power source, the maximum it can pass through PD to the laptop or Mini PC is 65W. My laptop requires 95W to charge and power the laptop. So that's a problem. Even if it could pass 95W to the laptop, with a 100W cap where's the power for the peripherals plugged into the dock?So yes, this is a step forward. It's also well made and for most people this is fine, but it's not what I need. I'll just have to continue using the very expensive but powerful Dell dock until these guys fully implement Thunderbolt 4.
