The best little trowel you will ever have the privilege of using!
Many builders / roofers have never heard of this sort of trowel, as they are really quite rare to find in most builders merchants and trade type shops. Let me assure anyone that is unsure about buying this, that it is without a doubt, one of the most versatile and handy trowels available. Laying bricks / blocks in an enclosed space, yet not wanting to spread pathetically small amounts of mortar with each stroke? Then this is for you - it is much stronger and has a much greater surface area than any gauging trowel available. Wanting to quickly and easily point up the mortar on freshly laid ridge tiles? Then this is for you - the curve of the blade is perfect for double pan tiles and double roman tiles. Want to easily shape and smooth flaunching around chimney pots? Need i go on?

Not genuine
Not genuine. I’ve used the genuine ones of these for years and this is very poor quality copy. The wooden handle is very thin and the metal is bent. Poorly made. No marshalltown stamp on it either.

Bricklayer for 25 years.
Good trowel but 1 inch too small. Shank too thin, apart of that good tool.

and am very pleased with this trowel
I am a stonemason, working in the heritage end of the spectrum, and am very pleased with this trowel. I find a lot of brick laying trowels far too big for most of the work I carry out - this Marshalltown is the size of a worn down bricklaying trowel and I find it spot on. Takes a good amount of mortar, has flexibility but is strong enough for lifting reasonable weights when fixing. Good first trowel for an apprentice I should think. Highly recommended.

Disappointing
This trowel is disappointing no makers Mark imprinted on blade. Don't think it genuine Marshalltown not worth the money. Better of having a cheap rst tile setting trowel same quality for a lot less. Will not be recommending this trowel.
