I just love the look of this thing. All black, gorgeous black basket too, and holds 18g of dark roast + extracts beautifully. It fits my Breville Bambino Plus perfectly! At first, I found it difficult to lock into my group head, but I’ve discovered that pulling a blank shot first (or wetting the ears of the portafilter before placing it in) helps lubricate the portafilter for easy locking. It’s also nicely weighted and luxurious feeling! And it works well for my setup (I only do Medium and Dark Roast on my Bambino Plus). At a certain point, the inside of the black basket scraped away and revealed silver underneath, so I’m unsure at the metal’s longevity at retaining the black look. But MHW was happy to replace it for me via their direct customer service.

It's weight and feel, impressive.Comes with an 18gr low basket that performs well!And above all, it matches the Flair 58's style.Might as well add the distribution funnel from 3-Bomber and you are good to go.Definitely an upgrade and a good purchase for me.

5 stars for the construction, quality, and look of this portafilter. Have always loved MHW-3Bomber’s products. Only giving 4 stars because it’s a 3-lipped portafilter head, where my machine’s grouphead requires a 2-lipped portafilter and I don’t see this as an option in MHW-3Bomber’s Astra lineup (unless I’m just missing it). But entirely my fault for not checking more thoroughly. So sadly, I have to return this portafilter. But I’d definitely recommend this portafilter to any barista, both for an at-home setup or commercial setting.

I really love the quality of the portafilter, it cleans very easy and is very manageable to work with, I even added a puck to aid my water control and my expresso taste amazing !!! It cleans very nicely too ! Would recommend I have a breville barista express machine as well

I love this portafilter. It looks really nice and has a great feel to it. It's on the heavier side, so if you're looking for something light weight, this isn't the best option. I have the whole astra collection from mhw-3bomber so my whole setup matches. Pair this with the 3bomber bep basket and the puck screen and you'll have great espresso.

Fits Breville machines, basket is high quality, and is overall a beautiful product! The normcore portafilter tabs were significantly thicker and made it harder to use on my machine (Breville infuser)
