Excellent construction, the way this thing goes together surprised me. I expected to have issues, I was very pleased finding out I was wrong. Holds water great. We needed a small step to really get into it. Keeps water cold and we use it to get a full submerge sometime without using ice. It can make a good soaking tub for aches and pains. Delivered in a box that made be doubt its function, that was an incorrect misconception as well. Pleased with the Tub for sure.

It was easy enough to set up. I did not have any issues using it or from leaking. The size was an issue for me. Although I did find it sturdier that it looked, I felt cramped and unable to get the cool water to really flow all over me. Someone a little shorter or of a smaller build would have no problem. This is a good product.

I am a true believer is ice baths, you would think I am a crazy ice bath lady. Got this one for my husbands co-worker who is a bit taller and skeptical about giving it a shot. The quality is excellent multi layer design, the snug cover is great so he doesn’t have to empty or clean out every time, he said the foot pump was a little wonky but overall easy assembly! It is absolutely worth every penny, he likes the x-large capacity cause it gives him a tad more room, not only is he loving this he referred another co-worker to it!

My daughter is a competitive swimmer and one of her teammates had a similar model at an outdoor summer long course meet a couple years ago. My daughter used it after one of her events and said it made her muscles feel alot better and ready for her next race. They are a personal choice for each family and I am only commenting on the specifics of this ice bath model and give no recommendations one way or another on if they would be a good fit for your athlete.The ice bath itself is easily transportable in the travel bag that is included with the bath set. It also comes with a liner that lays across the top of the water once the bath is filled, and a lid that is on an elastic string in order to form fit it to the top of the bath to hopefully keep out unwanted bugs, leaves, or whatever else may be floating around in the air if you're outside.There is a top ring of the tub that needs to be inflated. There is also a ring around the insert that lays on top of the water that needs to be inflated as well. There is an air pump that is included in the kit that is a hand or foot pump but it didn't seem to work too well. My daughter switched to using our electric pump that we have for our air mattress. That did a better job than the included pump, but not by much. I finally just blew it up with my mouth. That got the best result, but even that wasn't perfect. Once it is fully filled with air, the tube is supposed to be perfectly round with no kinks or lines in the ring. As you can see by the photos, that level of completion was not achieved with our tub.It is winter in Minnesota so we didn't want to fill the tub all the way up with water, but we did fill it about half way and the poles that get placed around the outer sides of the tub seemed to hold up against the pressure from the water and the tub drained out almost completely by opening the spout on the outside bottom of the tub.My daughter is 5 ft 10 and is able to get in the tub and crouch down and basically disappear in the tub with only the top of her head visible. The amount of water can be adjusted for the size of the athlete getting in to the tub. We are looking forward to taking it with us during next summers round of outdoor meets.The price is definitely affordable for most budgets. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the cost was well under $100, especially considering what all comes included with it. It seems to be made of good quality materials that hopefully will last for a long time, and it is designed to travel. Not really moveable once you get it filled with ice and water so you definitely want to have it where you want it before you fill it because you won't be able to move it somewhere else when it comes time to empty it.

My husband has wanted an ice bath for a few years, so I jumped on this one for Christmas. Set up was super easy, the material is sturdy, and I love that it comes with a fitted cover. it's been cold enough here that we haven't had to add much ice in the past few months. The only thing I feel could make this better is if it came with a drain hose. I love that its easy to pack away and travel and can easily be brought with us on long stays out of town .

I have always wanted to do the ice bath, I have done ice showers before eand they help a lot with mindfulness and the day seems to be a lot easier. With it being winter time, I thought it would be a great time to try the ice plunge. It is easy to set up and light weight, it all breaks down and has a case that you can carry it with you which would only work if you were going somewhere with a water supply. For myself I travel in an RV and I love that it easily breaks down and doesn't take up much space, it is comfortable for myself, I am a plus sized woman and it is a bit awkward getting in and out but it is something that will ease with time and as my flexibility grows. If you are thinking of it it's worth it, it is a great value for the money and plus it's so simple to use.

This works as described. It’s holds ice and water and doesn’t leak. It could be a little taller because I am 6’2” but it does the job. Easy to assemble but take some time to fill. I wanted to see if I liked ice baths and this was a great first step at a good price.
