Perfect for after cataract surgery. They send you home with a similar shield and a roll of tape. The tape is awkward and would probably leave marks on my face for weeks afterwards. This product has an adjustable elastic strap and is comfortable. The shield is a good fit and provides excellent protection for the eye while sleeping, and it stays on all night. It is also good for eye protection while showering.

I have just finished my cataract surgeries and this shield is by far much more comfortable to wear than the surgical tape plastered all over the face to hold a shield over the eye. You can a little bit through the shield and the strap is adjustable. Great product and easy to use.

It was comfortable. The only issue that I had was related to the small button used when tightening the shield to my eye. On both of mine this “button” and popped off and to tighten I had to tie the band.

After cataract surgery, my ophthalmologist gave me identical plastic shields to wear to bed each night for 7 days following surgery on each eye, but he also gave me some weak (useless) medical tape to affix the shields in place. These with the headbands worked much easier.
