No top latch
I got the cage with the top that lifts, expecting there to be a latch to lock it. I have an 11 month old pit/lab mix and he has figured out that the top opens and has let himself out several times now. I was using bungee cords to secure it, he still managed to get out! He also busted thru the double doors as the pad lock doesn’t sit very well inside the hole cut for it. Otherwise, decent cage. I’ve placed the double doors against the wall and put a clamp to keep the top shut. Working fine for my Houdini now! (I do have to say I paid way too much to have to rig it up just to keep him in it.)

Not heavy duty
No matter what size you get this is a cage for a small dog that isn’t strong or destructive. I have a 85lb Rottweiler mix and he ate through the wood at the bottom and bent all the wheels. Definitely not a sturdy cage if you have a large dog. It didn’t even last a week.

No good
Two of 4 wheels broke while we were putting it together… the latch for the gate has no bearing on the bottom to hook it…
