Very nice, sturdy, holds tool securely
Very nice sheath - much better than the one that came with the tool. The leatherman wave fits very well in the sheath. It's held securely, but still comes out easily. It has 2 elastic pockets inside the sheath that hold the Leatherman bit kits securely. It has 2 elastic loops outside the sheath - I have one holding the screwdriver extension and the other holding a small flashlight. I've never had problems with those items falling out.I like the sheath with the snap (like on this one) better than ones with Velcro. The last sheath I had (same as this one) lasted quite a few years and the snap was always secure. The velcro one I had, the velcro would wear out and would no longer stay secure. The only reason I replaced my old sheath was the clip on my flashlight had eventually shredded the elastic loop and it was starting to look ratty and be loose. Otherwise it's still in great condition.I'd definitely buy this again.

For those of you who want to carry more than just your Wave and a flashlight
I finally wore out the original leather holster that came with my Leatherman Wave (a pre Wave+ Wave). I really liked the old style leather sheath but could not even find one on eBay so I got this one from Amazon. All in all it gets the job done.Pros:It fits the Wave snugly - in fact I hope that it loosens up a bit with use.It has front and rear pouches for the two bit trays that Leatherman sells. That is not a big plus with me since I rarely need anything other that the Phillips and Regular bits - but every once in a while I need a hex or torx bit, so I will see how that works out.I also like the fact that it has two elastic side storage pouches so that I can carry my inspection light and bit extension on me.Cons:The snap seems pretty secure but not as secure as the ones on the old leather holsters. The side elastic pouch is too small to handle my Streamlight 1AAA flashlight - my favorite since it has two levels of lighting. So I have gone back to using my Coast Inspection Light which handles about 90% of my needs. I should note that the elastic side pouches are sized differently. One is a perfect fit for the bit extension while the other is a tight but usable fit for the Coast light. I did manage to cram the Streamlight in once but getting it in and out was more of a struggle than I wanted to deal with.Requests:I wish that somebody would creatively make a Wave holster that fits the Wave tool, bit extension, bit trays, flashlight and a 4" Crescent wrench. That would be awesome. It is possible to leave out one bit and cram a 4" Crescent wrench into one of those slots but its real pain to get it back out. There are some nice aftermarket holsters but I haven't found one that's "just right."All in all, it looks well made and if lasts as long as the leather one I will be happy with it.

The Medium is perfect for my Surge TTI, 2x bit kit and extension
After reading through reviews, there was a lot of conflicting info on which size fit the Charge TTI the best with the 2x bit kit. I previously had a leather sheath that was too big from the start and over time loosened up, causing my Charge TTI to sometimes fall out. So I wanted to make sure I got the correct size. Also, a lot of reviews state the sheath fits their Charge TTI and 2x bit kit, but don't specify which size they bought. It seems like some products will show you which version a customer bought at the top of a review, but that's not the case on this product. But onto the sheath itself.. The medium size is perfect for my Surge TTI, 2x bit kit and extension as you can see by the photos. It's very sturdy and even has some extra storage on the side if I decide to get more accessories. It's very stout and solid feeling. Much better than the leather sheath I had before. We'll see if it lasts!

Best Sheath for Skeletool and Bits
I bought this to hold my Skeletool and it is perfect in every way. I also carry a pen, flashlight and extra bits in it. It is very durable looks great.

Nice sturdy case.
Case is quality and sturdy but a little big (where the snap is located) for the Leather Wave. Fits snugly but the Wave is not long enough to satisfy this case's depth. 😅 So there will be a little vertical play.

It fits a Wave+, a bit extension, a flashlight, & ONE bit set.
The media could not be loaded. With 30 years working with either a Leatherman Wave or a Leatherman Surge. I learned some things. Such as…Leatherman’s most popular Nylon Belt Sheath & the Wave, Leatherman’s most popular Multitool, really goes together… ALMOST!With adding accessories to the Medium-sized sheath, two holders of extra Leatherman bits are almost too much to pack along with the Wave multi-tool. One bit holder, stowed behind the tool, allows easy access of the Wave. No problems pulling it in & out of the Nylon Sheath. But packing two bit holders, the fit is just too tight. It’s too hard to dig the tool out one handed. Same with the two bit holders. Too tight a fit.Otherwise, the Medium-sized Sheath with the Wave fits like a glove. With this Medium-sized Sheath, I suggest you pick your most needed bits to fill one holder, and stow it in the divider BEHIND the Wave.I pack the bit extender with the smaller of the two outside stretch loops. And for adding a flashlight, my choice of torch is a Mag-Lite Solitare LED. The current AAA version of what Leatherman used to offer included with the Nylon Sheath. It’s a perfect fit in the bigger stretch loop, and an awesome little flashlight. I highly recommend it.I still pack along a Surge… in a Black Molle holster strapped to a gear bag in my work van, it’s my Wave that stays with me on my hip.And this incarnation of the Nylon belt sheath Leatherman offers, with a snap closure instead of Velcro, gets the job done.ALMOST. But plenty good enough for me.

Much needed!
I have been a fan of Leatherman for years. They have a store near the Portland airport, and I have dropped in a few time when I can. I've been through a few of the tools mostly because leave them on a job site. This is the firt holder that isn't leather, and I like it.the case is just a little big for my Wave Tool, but it works just fine. I expect it will last longer than the leather version.

Works like a charm. Perfect size.
Fit my signal, a flashlight, the ratchet adapter and all the two strips of ratchet bits. Pretty cool.
