Works great!
I needed A lock for a swinging door that goes from my living room to my kitchen. Something to make it so my dog can’t push the door open and come into the kitchen. This works perfectly. Love it and it looks nice, easy to install and worth the money. Very durable. Would recommend.

Works for what I need.
I drilled this lock onto the sliding screen door of my balcony so my baby cannot open it. It’s sturdy and works great. Just make sure you line the pieces up properly. If you put one of the pieces on upside down they will not be aligned. As long as you pay attention to that you’ll be fine. Super easy to install. You definitely need a drill if installing into plastic or metal.

Nice looking but is not without its issues.
It's a nice looking piece of hardware for your door. Just wanted to give some advice. First, the screws here are pretty small and thin, so I don't think it's very secure. It won't prevent someone kicking open or pulling open the door forcefully. It will prevent a family member from using the doorknob's emergency unlock mechanism to open the door. Like if you have a bathroom door that you want to keep absolutely locked even if someone uses the pin-hole unlocking mechanism of your doorknob's lock, this will do the trick. No way someone is getting in. Another bit of advice: This won't work on most interior doors. That's because most interior doors are hollow on the inside. They're not solid. This should only be used on solid doors. That pretty much limits you to exterior doors, although you can replace an interior door with a solid wood door just the same, and then it would work. But with hollow doors, you have maybe an eighth of an inch of wood that the screw will screw into, which means it can easily be ripped right out. That's why you need a solid wood door. Last bit of advice: The margin of error on this is extremely small. A millimeter too much one way or the other, and the thing won't work at all. That's because the latch mechanism is very precise. It has to fit perfectly. Get ready to fill holes and then redrill them to fix your mistake. Aside from that, I give it 5 stars for what it is. I could maybe take a star off for the fact that the screws aren't big and strong, but I'm not going to. This is a niche piece of hardware that might work perfectly for some applications where strong security isn't required.

Works well but doesn’t glow much
This is a good lock but the glowing isn’t very bright, it is really hard to see in the dark.

Easy to install-works well
Installs very easily and holds patio doors closed on windy days, also secures doors from opening from outside.

Excellent latch, but note that it is not symmetrical!!
I love this latch. HOWEVER, it is important to note that it is not symmetrical. So if you line it up, then put it down and drill your holes, make sure that you have it oriented the exact same way when you install it with screws. I did not notice that one end is longer than the other. So when I measured, drilled, then installed, I couldn’t figure out what I had done wrong when the latch didn’t lineup. After several minutes of head scratching, I realized my error. Hopefully I save you some time and frustration.
