I recently upgraded my Pilates reformer with this set of additional springs, and the difference is remarkable. I started to feel I needed more tension on my reformer so I ordered this set of springs. The set comes with two different tensions, I’m using the 44 pound tension springs and they turn out great on my reformer. I love the fact that I have extra spare ones. These are great, very good quality, fantastic elasticity. I’m able to hook them to my reformer easily.

I didn't realize that this set of springs came with two different tension values until after I received them. I know it says it right there in the listing, but I was guilty of seeing that they were pilates springs and clicking order without looking at them too deeply. I just wanted to make sure we had back-ups to the springs already included with our reformer. It was a very nice bonus to find out that these aren't just back ups, but with different tension values, we can use these now to adjust our workouts. My wife tends to use the lower tension springs and now I have the higher weight 44 lbs springs to provide even greater exercise challenge for me. The springs look as good as the originals that came with my reformer. They provide great exercise versatility and work well on our machine. These really expand the use of our reformer machine and I'm glad we ordered them. They are better than just back-up springs and I think they are a great value!

I received these springs so I can make my own reformer and I like the reasonable price for them. Most other springs are extreamly expensive (approching the price of a reformer). I have yet to build the reformer but initial testing of tension and such looks like they match tension of pilaties branded springs. I am excited to add them to my reformer I am building and if I was to make another I would buy these. If your looking for a replacement or looking at making your own reformer you cant go wrong with this set.

These are great quality springs. They feel and function just like the original ones!

My reformer only has 22-pound springs, so I wanted to get this set of additional springs to have some variety in the amount of tension I’m able to experience. What’s great about this set is that there are two springs that have less tension than my reformer, at just 17 pounds, and three springs that have significantly more tension than my reformer, at 44 pounds. This really expands the use of my reformer and gives me great variety in my workouts.The springs themselves are the right size and have the hook ends that my reformer uses. They are strong and sturdy and the coils stay tightly coiled until pulled. The description calls the material “manganese steel” which supposedly is very tough and has high tensile strength. So far they work great!
