The Gutmax Gut Repair Formula probiotics is an effective supplement that helps keep things moving along. The capsules are easy to swallow and don't have much of a taste. The smell on the other hand, well, it's not great. But I grin and bear it while I chug water to get it down. Sometimes healthy stuff doesn't smell like cotton candy, and that's ok. I feel like the health benefits outweigh the funk factor. The capsules are designed to survive the journey to the intestines, which is great because some other probiotics can't make it past the stomach.This is a high-quality probiotic made in the USA. I like to add it to my vitamin mix each day to help combat the effects of the modern American diet.

This supplement is a great example of what I look for when I read supplement labels. I always want as few "other ingredients" as possible. The only other ingredients in this supplement is the gelatin used to make the capsule. Then you get pretty much just the supplements you bought this for. These are easy to swallow. We got them because my husband has a sensitive stomach and we're hoping this might be helpful. In addition to the great ingredients, I'm happy that it's made in the US and not in China. I don't trust the manufacturing processes in China, so I try to avoid Chinese manufactured supplements.

Strong gas smell makes it unbearable to take. Questionable quality—won’t repurchase.

The Gutmax gut repair formula is a fantastic blend of supplements that actually have scientific backing and have been proven to be clinically effective. I highly recommend it for digestive health.

These are easy to take and leave no bad after taste. I like that they are made in the US and have no bad fillers. Too early to tell if these offer significant improvements in my health, but I will continue to take them for the benefits they claim.

While my diet is rich in fiber, I also use artificial sweeteners regularly. So, you can imagine I can get very ‘gaseous’ on some days. Haha. I also suffer from loose stools occasionally.Thus, I ordered this once it was offered. What sold me on this supplement is the claim that due to its enteric encapsulation technology, your gut can absorb this formulation better without acidic interference. I am hoping with daily use, this product will aid with the stools and occasional gas.Oh, I did not mind the pungent smell from this product. As long as you store these tablets in a cool place (perhaps in the fridge), you can get pass the smell.

I've been trying butyrate recently after reading about it, and have been hoping it will help my digestive issues. I thought I would try this formula because it's enteric coating, and from what I've read, butyrate is one of those things that doesn't make it to through the stomach easily, so the enteric coating is supposed to help that. I really can't say whether it does or doesn't. The jury is still out for me on whether this helps me; I've only been taking it for a couple of weeks, and through the holiday season, when I eat things I shouldn't. It has not caused me any stomach upset or trouble, though, and the formula looks good, so I'll keep up with it. The price is decent (approx $28) for a two month supply.
