wow this pillow is awesome! I read some negative reviews so I did not have any expectations and even tried it without taking the plastic bag (in case I needed to return it).One has to remember that pillows are a very, very personal thing... and how they work on us depends on many factors starting with our bodies (which are not the same). I am 5'10" and weight about 145 lb. My neck is not too long but not short, I guess normal. So, this pillow works well for me. Works excellent, I must say.I chose the "gentle" version since pillows in general bother me but I knew I needed something to hold my neck/head in a natural manner.This pillow offers the right pressure and support for my neck and head. It feels very comfortable if you sleep on your side. It kind of "cuddles" your head, it feels soooooo good!For the first time, after using this pillow I woke up without any neck pain and experienced how much a good night sleep affects your day and mood. I did not follow the manufacturer recommendation to use it a few hours until your body gets use to it. It felt so normal and right that I used it during the whole night.Thus, if you are the type of person that pillows bother you, pick the gentle. I think it is worth giving it a try.I did not buy the travel pillow just the 220 Tri-Core PillowBTW, I picked the "Fulfilled by Amazon" option in case I needed to return it. I know Amazon is very good with returns and I really did not want to deal with difficult sellers. So, Amazon.com was the seller.

I purchased this same pillow 4 years ago and this one is okay (about the same). However, the little travel pillow is unusable because it is too hard and not flexible. I wish I did not buy the combo.

This order was to have included two pillows. I only received one. The travel pillow wasn't included yet I was charged full price.

So far my experience with this pillow has been great! There were a few days of discomfort while my body adjusted including a headache. After that though, my neck muscles have been so much more relaxed and I find my shoulders not fighting to keep my head back. I'm sleeping better and not tossing and turning as much as I used to. I even seem to be having an easier time breathing at night with my allergies, asthma, and sinus problems. I have not had a single migraine since I got this pillow, but since I'm not really sure about my triggers I guess I can't claim it's the pillow.

I really like this pillow. I'm a fairly violent sleeper (tossing, turning, flailing - okay, that last was a slight exaggeration), and this has really helped my stiff neck problems. Sometimes my neck is still stiff when I wake up, but that's not the fault of the pillow, but instead because I have moved my head to the edge of the pillow instead of the hole at some portion during the night.I've been looking for a pillow for my neck problems for several years now, and this pillow finally meets my needs.I only wish it came with a zip-off cover.Highly recommended.
