This was bought to STOPsquirrels climbing my washing line support pole, to get at bird food suspended from the lines..cannot put in trees as the beasts enjoy stealing it from climbing the branches…they have worked out how to climb the pole putting their horrid little hands and feet where the gaps in the steel teeth wound round the pole occur.I need to buy another set to cover theses areas.viz. No gaps.These are grey squirrels ,rodents ,bringing fleas and other stuff into my shrubs and garden.I hate them.I do not find them charming or comical.

This is so dangerous I had to return it. You could not handle it even with gloves , its impossible to wrap around anything even with gloves without cutting and injuring your hand. Amazon gave me a refund without needing to return it. I could not get it in a box to return it . It has to go straight to the tip so it would not injure anyone else. This product should not be sold on the internet.

This was used to stop cats climbing up to my bird table. It seems to have done the trick. They are definitely sharp, and you will probably not get away with out being scratched during installation.

Very sharp watch your hands

The media could not be loaded. Bought these to try and stop the squirrels climbing up the pole. Didn't seem to bother them.

This does the job well keeps unwanted visitors off your bird table. Careful with fitting very sharp.

These spines have every appearance of being a deterrent - they are sharp and jaggy, and can only be handled wearing gloves. However, Scottish grey squirrels are made of tougher stuff and were soon hanging form them whilst raiding the bird feeder!May be English grey squirrels have more delicate paws!

They just have something to hold onto now
