I didn’t really expect this to be as good as it seems to be. I’ve given 4 stars purely because I’ve only just got it and used it once, so longevity is unknown. That said, in every other respect it seems particularly impressive. I’ve used a Braun gas styler in the past and expected any rechargeable version to be weak by comparison but it isn’t. The unit heats up quickly and, unlike its gas predecessors, has 4 heat settings which is a distinct advantage. It gave my fine hair an impressive reshape and left it smooth and shiny with much less feeling of heat damage compared to gas versions and without the dependency on costly canisters.Provided it continues to function like this, I am and will continue to be very happy with it and more than happy to recommend.

Very happy with this purchase it is light weight but solid. It is excellent for adding some bounce to my flat hair which is very fine and thin. The heat settings can be adjusted so that I can add more volume without damaging my hair and it gives lovely big curls. If I'm not working I will use this to straighten in my hair by simply brushing it when it's hot and get rid of all the frizz. It leaves my hair lovely and shiny. Charges with a USB charger and does not take long to get hot enough to style my hair. This is brilliant if I am running late for work I can take it with me in my handbag. Brilliant bit of kit I'm so pleased with it I really can't recommend it enough.

The unit itself does a wonderful job. It's a replacement for my wife's Babylis gas which is getting more difficult to use with limits on taking refills in airline luggage etc.. In use it's perfect. It's just a bind having to set up a system for battery charging. The charge lead gets hot so we wouldn't want to leave it on a charger unattended and it does take a long time to charge so it's an active issue with its overall practicality.

I purchased mine a few weeks ago, it worked OK at the start but after taking it away on holiday where I needed it most, it stopped working …. When I got home I switched it on and all the lights were bleeping so I tried to charge it but it wouldn’t charge. I am sending it back and hope to get a refund as I don’t want another one!!!!!
