There are some things to love about this powdered instant lemon ginger tea: the fresh ingredients in the easy to open resealable jar, the ease of preparation since it dissolves effortlessly into hot water, and the all natural, healthy and nutritious ingredients.But, and this is a huge BUT... It tastes terrible. Even though the first two ingredients are lemon and ginger, this tastes like that one dish on the Indian buffet that I don't like and can't eat. Like cumin or cardamom. I couldn't detect a hint of lemon. The directions aren't really clear. It says to use 8-10 grams per 100ml of water, which after translation into American is a little short of a tablespoon in an 11 oz cup. We weighed it to find out. My gosh, both of us couldn't drink it. I also tried using only a teaspoon in the same size cup, but the flavor wasn't improved at all. I ended up tossing the jar.I think it would be a great combination of spices for that dish on the buffet line, but for a beverage this isn't it. And I love spicy foods. I even put spices in my tea regularly. But in this case I was expecting LEMON flavor like the title. So sorry I didn't care for this nutritious food.
