The Gospel of Barnabas Paperback – September 4, 2020

I like the book

The name Mohammed is in the gospel of Barnabas - at least once that I've seen thus far, and I'm only about ten percent or so thru. It's easy-to-read, and similar to the gospels that those who trust the European Church's "approval" to read. There is substantial truth in the Gospel (or Injeel in Arabic), but the Bible has been Divinely Warned about their attempt to alter the truth. Quite intriguing. You should endeavor to read; it's real easy to break into small portions, just try it...

This is an amazing book. It can be considered as one of many texts circulating in the early Christian communities. It shares stories with other early writing as that Jesus made clay birds and animated them, but it also sees him as a man--not God, or the son of God--and it says that he did not die on the cross. God took him into heaven and Judas, who suddenly began to resemble Jesus, was the one who was crucified. The accounts of the Gospel of Barnabas are similar to those of the Koran--Jesus was a prophet, who proclaimed the worship of one God. The reader will have to make his/her judgments as to the value of this gospel. It would be heretical to an evangelical/fundamentalist reader, yet it may be enlightening to a liberal religious perspective. It shows that Jesus can make sense without death and the cross. I might also suggest JESUS, PROPHET OF ISLAM by Muhammad'Ata ur-Rahim and Ahmad Thomson, THE TRUE MESSAGE OF JESUS CHRIST by A.A.B. Philips, WAS JESUS CRUCIFED? by Ahmed Deedat,and THE MANY SHADES OF SHIRK by Fadlur Rahman Kalim Kashmiri.

Pantianos did a good job with the book. the Back cover is inaccurate when it says "however, many Christians believe there is more than a grain of truth to the text, and accept it as a credible and worthy adjunct to the New Testament" this is wrong, as no Christian church I can find considers it, nor do we find that many Christians referring to it positively like the Didache.other than that I would recommend this if someone is interested in this Pseudo Gospel

Gift for husband. He and an associate both found it informative.

This is a great book to read. It could be the path to enlightenment. This is especially so because it has in it, the word of God.

This seams to be a Muslim version of the gospel. Has some good incite but not true gospel. It does give the reason for circumcision ( derives from Adam.) But denies Jesus as the Messiah, denies he is the son of god and denies the crucifixion. Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies for the bible and said these things must come to pass. I think it was a book that was rewritten to fit the Muslim narrative. The Epistle of Barnabas is much shorter, different author, but seams much more accurate...
