Excellent!! Needed to replace the head on my Dyson V8 Animal. Slight design change in the roller, but otherwise matches the original piece exactly; the design change is meant to help with easing hair and string removal, so I'm excited to see how it works out. Clicks right into place with ease, removes with ease. Works perfectly!

This new power head stands miles above all others we have tried. It is excellent on both carpet and hardwood. It actually picks up dry pet food too, something that other units struggle with. Well worth the extra dollars.

Plugged it in and it worked and it's still working after 3 weeks so we're good to go.

I bought two of these and they worked great at first, however within five months the suction has greatly decreased. I maintain them on a regular basis, but they’re not as good as the original Dyson vacuum heads.

Decent replacement for the original. Fits like any other attachment and cleans pretty much the same. It is definitely louder when moving it over hardwood/tile and the ball joint doesn't move quite as easily as the original. However, considering the savings vs. the original, it's absolutely fine.

Works better than the original in picking up dog hair off the carpet. Hard floor performance is about the same.

Does a great job of cleaning on rugs and hard wood floors.

I was so bummed when I accidentally broke my Dyson vacuum head and worried a replacement would be super expensive. Thankfully, this one works just as well as the original! It moves in all directions smoothly and fits perfectly. Great quality for the price—highly recommend!
