Defective
I am having so many issues with my Jet Bot Combo AI. It looks nice, the features sound great and for the short time things work it does a good job, but it simply cannot be relied upon.I have a schedule set for 23:00 every night, the plan is it'll complete the clean and head back to charge when my electric is cheap. But most mornings I come down and the vacuum has got stuck somewhere and not made it back to the base. This means it hasn't emptied the dustbin or cleaned its mops. When you then place it on charge, it doesn't empty its bin or wash its mops.I've watched it try and return to the base when it needs a recharge, it just moves around in circles, last night I watched it for 30+ mins moving around the living room and never making it back to the kitchen where the base is before the battery died. Despite showing its location on a map, it clearly has no idea where the base station is, and only if it gets lucky will it find it so it can recharge. It struggles to get on long pile rugs and clean them, it'll get stuck on them or the side brush gets tangled and stops moving. I have it set to return to the base to drop the mop heads and then go back to clean the rugs, but it keeps going onto the rugs with its mop heads on anyway and getting stuck.Despite the claims on advanced object awareness I have still had to remove cables from it multiple times, or move it away from lamp cables after it gets stuck. It then refuses to pick up bits of soil (my cat likes to dig in my houseplants) or the loose cat litter near the litter tray because the AI must think these are objects it needs to avoid. This is my second unit. The first one repeatedly said it had a fault with a sensor and needed to be reset. I've had this second unit for around 20 days. It clearly has issues which ultimately make it less reliable and useful then the 8 year old roborock it replaced.

Fantastic
I was hesitant buying this as I saw the negative feedback. I already tried a Dyson version which I returned as kept getting lost. I have had the Samsung vacuum for a few days now and have tried using in vacuum and mop mode. It has done a fantastic job on both vacuuming and mopping. It has not created any issues or got lost. Has avoided hazards and has worked around them. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking g for a bot vacuum.

Avoid at all costs!
Some 3 months ago now I purchased a Robot Vacuum and Mop from Samsung (not from John Lewis, i'm just trying to spread the word about how poor this thing is). The device on the whole isn't great as it is often getting stuck, going to the wrong areas and not completing cleaning tasks. I've reset it a number of times as well as reinstalling the SmartThings App. It will only map 25% of my house now where as previously it did more. Beyond this it has a fault that the camera isn't working. I have called the service centre around 9 times to get this resolved and had a number of email exchanges with SmartThings team. All of these interactions (apart from one) have been incredible frustrating. When I finally convinced a member of the Samsung technical team that there is a problem and a repair was booked, the logistics partner, DPD, are useless. I was not contacted to arrange a date and therefore wasn't in when they came. On the rearranged date, they didn't turn up and sent me a photo of a random field somewhere. Before I can rearrange, the whole repair has been cancelled. Avoid at all cost!

Awful product
There is not too much to say other than I had this for three days and returned it on paper it looks good but unfortunately the reality is something different. It does not do anything well and at this eye watering price that is totally unacceptable. There are a few good videos from a guy on YouTube that shows some of the hilarious shortcomings of this thing do yourself a favor and avoid it. Samsung seems to be really letting themselves down recently with poor products that are not thoroughly tested.

Disappointing
On paper this product is fantastic - vacuums carpet and can also mop hard floors (indeed even vacuum and mop or vacuum then mop). It empties the dust into the main unit and swaps the dirty water for clean weather and cleans the mop head itself.BUT the software renders it quite dumb … Samsung offer a choice of cleaning pattern but it turns out the sensors aren’t smart enough for it to stop itself from bumping into things or bumping into its own unit. It also uses Samsung's "SmartThings" app which is quite clunky for lack of a better description - it's not necessarily intuitive and the setup process isn't as smooth as you'd hope. It's unfortunate they didn't offer a standalone app with SmartThing integration available for those that want that.In my case, whilst it was working away on its own, it turns out it’s managed to damage its own plastic housing and leave parts of sharp shards of plastic around the house.Samsung aren’t willing to help - citing that there’s damage and accordingly that apparently isn’t covered by their warranty. They don’t seem to appreciate the nuance that the product is a ‘robot’ with “AI” and it’s not a case of the consumer damaging it. (They seemed to accept that it may have damaged itself but were adamant that any damage renders the warranty invalid).I don’t leave reviews often but thought I’d better warn others than you risk spending over a thousand pounds for Samsung to shrug their shoulders and not seem to care at all when their product isn’t fit for purpose. Additionally, one of the magnets on the water chamber fell out - a further risk to children.I suspect they’ve rushed it to the market, not made the casing out of sufficient robust plastic (it shouldn’t be brittle) and not sufficient safeguards for it bumping into things. But it seems Samsung just don’t care. It’s a real disappointment as it promised so much!Edit - back and forth with Samsung for days and days, they eventually agreed for a repair - only for the would-be repair company to advise that they don't repair or service these vacuums. It seems Samsung don't have many, or perhaps any, repair companies set up to look at these units. Then back and forth with a 'computer says no' type approach to arranging another repair - since "damage" isn't covered by the warranty (despite already having had this argument) and them repeating that any damage renders it void.I'm genuinely disappointed with Samsung and it's changed my opinion about their brand and products generally - it seems they've simply not thought through this product and it's functions at all. Eventually, they advised that they could arrange for it to be collected and that they'd then advise how things stand once it'd been inspected (albeit their website warns of potential repair costs) ... I waited and waited on the promised collection, however, nothing materialised. I ended up returning it to the retailer as faulty as I doubt that it'll last long even if repaired and Samsung clearly don't have much faith in it with a limited two year warranty. If anyone is considered getting one of these units - please go and see one in person - look at how thin the plastic is around the sensor at the charging side of the unit and assess yourself whether that's going to be robust enough to last years.
