I installed this door handle, and it broke in less than a week. I ended up having to replace it. Not worth the savings.

Detail: My old handset had been worn down from being used so many times that the latch would not fully recede as the interior metal had eroded away. Therefore, sometimes the door would not open easily. I first purchased a set that the exterior handle was too short to cover the existing mounting hole at the bottom I had to return it or would have to repaint the door and fill in the existing hole. When I received this unit, it was easy to install, maybe 30min max. Directions were easy and everything fit perfectly with the existing holes. Now the door opens and closes smoothly and quietly.

This was easy to install and came with all the required hardware. My front door got a much needed upgrade. If you are looking for a nice looking and sturdy front door handleset, do not look around any more. This is the choice!

Very low quality material almost plastic looking with a coat of metal sprayed, save the headache and buy a name brand product instead.
