Well made. As good as Festool? Yeah pretty much.
Arrow straight. Tested with a 4 foot Starret machinist's straight edge.Joining mechanism works well, but Festool's is somewhat better. The cutting edge strip is well adhered and of a stiffer, sturdier mateial than Festool's.Quality is there. Cost is well under half that of Festool.I'm a Makita guy overall, but when it comes to track saws I'm a Festool guy. They just are better thought out and the well thought out system really does make a difference. I have an $800 TS60 track saw, four hundred dollars worth of the FSK series crosscut track system which is an unique tool and in itself is a darn good reason to buy the TS60 saw, and a $700 CT MIDI dust extraction system, so I'm not a penny pincher, but I spend money where it makes sense. Festool's ridiculously expensive standard tracks don't make sense. I have bough Makita track in the past, but I actually like this Powertec track better.

Works well with Festool track saw
I had a long edge to trim for a deck project, and my original Festool rail had seen better days. These two rails cost less than one replacement OEM rail would cost. Manufacturing quality is pretty good, not as good as Festool, but it still works fine. The adhesive used for the slick parts of the top peeled up a bit, but again, still did not affect the cut. The zero clearance edge sticks out pretty far, but is trimmed off after the first cut. It comes with two bars to join the tracks together, those work fine. Only negative was a slight bend on one end, probably due to shipping.Update: I have used these rails on and off for about 2 years and I have been really happy with them. I bought one of the storage bags for the rails which helps immensely to keep them from getting damaged and I store the two Powertec and the original festool rail together. I'm not a pro, but I do enough work around the house where this saw and these rails make the difference. A recent boat restoration project was helped along by using the rails to cut new pieces of plywood in all sorts of shapes and sizes. The zero clearance strip is still a bit loose but it hasnt fallen off and doesnt seem to affect the cut quality at all.

Great but not so great
These tracks are good enough for the price that I bought three of them. They are every bit as good as fess tool but not out of the box. Do yourself a big favor and order the fess tool clear plastic edge strip refill kit along with these when purchase. The installed black soft rubber strips on the blades cut edge has horrible adhesion. Not just a fluke. Within just a few times of moving the tracks around on a flat cut table all of cut edge strips began to peal off at the ends. The adhesive sticks well to the track but not the rubber strip.I purchased three so I could maintain an 8ft and separate cross cut 4ft track for breaking down sheet goods. Plus an overall 12ft for making rips on sheets of Corian n other solid surface products. Fess tool joint connectors I highly recommend as an upgrade for a more solid connection. They have more squared edges and a tighter fit overall to gain a more ridgid fit to maintain a straight cut line. Even though the ones from and/or included do work effectively.Overall track quality build as in the aluminum itself is very very good. I've previously worked for a company that solely used fess tool products and these are quite comparable in quality. Just do yourself the favor and rerplace the edge cut strips immediately or you will be left with down time with shipping on new strips. Once they become unattached you can try to reglue but ultimately cut accuracy is out the window unless 1/16 off is good enough for what you got goin.Yes I do recommendBut I do recommend the two product upgrades as well for better accuracy

Works Well with Milwaukee Track Saw
I recently received a new Milwaukee track saw kit that came with a 55" track. I'm working on a slab table and needed a double track (110") setup to cut the long edges of the slab. Purchased the PowerTec kit and did the calibration procedure including the pre-cutting of the adhesive strip. The cuts were absolutely perfect. Very Happy. If you're thinking about mating a single 55" Powertec track with a Milwaukee track (or possibly others (Makita,Dewalt,Festool)) - I tried that to see how they would work together and it didn't go well. The saw was either too tight or too loose depending on which track I calibrated to. That's OK for me as I bought the 110" kit with the plan of keeping the 2 tracks mated and stored for long cuts.

don't stick, it shrunk 1/2" then fell off. Both times.
Even after scraping all the old glue off and cleaning it 14 times with acetone and soap the ends of the strip curled and came off during a cut which caused sawdust to get in there so I can pretty much write this off as a loss. It'll never stick again if it was ever going to. Got frustrated and left it alone for a week and when I came back to it the edges were rolled off again but this time when I stick them back down it's 1/4" short on all the ends. Like what the actual........ I didn't stretch it AT ALL putting it on.**updated** I leaned the tracks up against the wall hoping time would cure the glue. When I came back a few days later the strips had fallen to the floor.***updated again*** I purchased another roll and tried it again. Cleaned the track several times with acetone, soap & 97% alcohol just to make certain there was no residue on the track. Applied and rolled it with a j-roller. Shrunk and fell off just as the other did.

Great quality!
I came from a Kreg ACS track saw and purchased the Milwaukee M18 Track saw. It doesn't come with tracks so I purchased these to go along with it. Quality is significantly better than the Kreg track and it works wonderfully with the Milwaukee saw. Even the anti tip feature works (Milwaukee saw has a tab the pops out and engages in the track to kip if from tipping on 45 degree cuts), which some people said only the Milwaukee track has.Awesome value for the money!

Fantastic
I purchased these instead of the ridiculously expensive milwaukee ones. They're straight and work well with track saw. For the anti-tip feature on the Milwaukee, all you you have to do is file it down a little and it'll work with these tracks.

Amazingly useful
Gives perfectly straight cuts with zero play, very useful. The one think to be aware of is that the overall geometry of the block is tripod like, there’s only one contact in the middle of the block that rides on the material. This means it’s not quite as stable as I would like and slightly prone to tipping over if you don’t hold it just right but overall is much bore consistent and easy to both setup and use compared to a regular straight edge.

Works perfect
They are pricey but 100% required for my track saw. Better price than local retailers

Quality product
Works great. I can't imagine why anyone would waste their money on the Festool tracks - it's all just one length of extruded aluminum.

Not good
This item will not be repurchased. Doesn’t stay stuck to the adhesive on either end. Poor quality, guess I should have tried better quality.
