The gloves weren't all that great but the spotters are perfect.

The crossbar that the rap goes on is exactly where the weight of the dumbbell rests in your hand. So that bar is between the dumbbell and your hand making the dumbbells very unstable and very un comfortable imagine putting 50-60plus LBs on that. It doesn’t feel good and hard to control. Look at my pictures I posted with this. I took pictures without the rap so you could see. It is the same regardless which direction you turn the hooks. I think that the crossbar could be moved around about an inch, and fix the problem.

The media could not be loaded. These dumbbell hooks are great! Works just fine, they hook on bars fine and dumbbells at the gym fit well. This is great for someone who does not have a spotter. I love using dumbbells and isolate each arm so this item is great for me! Fits in my gym bag very well but I do have a large gym bag.

They are a little unstable feeling, but that is to be expected when using something new. The Velcro straps make the barbell handles a little large, also something you have to deal with to get the benefits. Do you want to tear your shoulder throwing up 90s or deal with a fat grip and a weird feeling from the hangers? Safety has a price and this one is worth it.

They are solid steel. Hanging from a regular bench press or incline bench bar, they hand a little low to try to get a good start on a heavy weight. But if you have a smith machine, where you can adjust the bar higher, these work great. The hooks were too narrow to hold my fat dumbbell handles, so I returned them.
